I’ve been up all night and all morning with no sleep researching everything you just talked about and I don’t even know how I came across your video just now and finished it. I must’ve stopped at 1 million times and took snapshots of everything you were saying even though, the caption misspelled a lot of what you’re saying unfortunately, when I took the snapshots. I literally had a download about how we can actually create entities spirits ourselves all the way back in like 2010 or 2011. And then it was several years ago I came across the term Tulpas. Then I just accidentally came across the name tulpas reading a sample of a book, called Egregors the occult watchers over humanity, or something like that. It really caught my attention when I saw the word Tulpas because I had watched some KZbin videos about what they were back probably 5 to 6 years ago. But I’ve never forgotten about them and I started getting a huge revelation tonight that it very well may be possible that angels and demons are Tulpas we created long ago. And when you add pendulum to the whole mix, it makes sense how these angels and demons that we know even by name have been able to exist in our world for so long. I’ve noticed that if I start ignoring a certain spirit that I work with for example, what would be called a demon then, it just seems to not even exist anymore. And someone once said that if we don’t continue to give them our energy or make alters for them and give them basically what energy we can then they would cease to exist. I’m starting to wonder if that may be true because if they’re Tulpas and we created them and they survive, mostly off our energy then maybe they are Tulpas. I know that we are all powerful creators, and we can literally create anything with our mind and emotions literally. So it got me thinking about all then Why couldn’t we create different spirits or celestial type beings if were as powerful as I know we are as being Manifesters or magicians, witches or whatever. I’m glad you made this video and that I caught it by chance right after I literally just got done reading that ladies book from 1929 as a sample and was considering buying the book, “Magic and mystery in Tibet.” Thank you so much for this video! 🖤

I've heard the idea that certain collective spirits are thoughtforms before too. Annie besant and the theosophists certainly thought so, I did another video on their perception of thoughtforms which you might like :)

I think I just found the other thought form video you made it was by Annie and I was gonna watch it later so I have it saved to watch for later. If that’s whom you’re talking about it? If not, then please let me know what other ones you are speaking of, and I would love to check that one out too!😊 I was just going on Amazon right now and checking out some of her books and reading some free samples or her stuff. Some of her writing being probably from 1800s is sort of hard to understand that English back then but I’m pretty tired from not sleeping so that might be why I’m having a hard time reading her stuff right now. lol! 😆 I am sending myself samples of her Ebooks so I can read more of her stuff and see which book I want to get right now cause I’m not gonna buy all of them, lol. I think I just was looking at the one you made the video on. I was just checking out where it starts out with a picture of the meaning of colors or something like that. 😊

Isn’t this like exactly what ritual magick is working with? I could be wrong but to my knowledge something like the LBRP is entirely about the formation of and feeding of energy to these Tulpas with metaphysical properties of purifying your elemental aspects of the self. I never understood that ritual until I learned of Tulpas

I didn't talk about it as much in this video, but there are really two instances of how the idea of Tulpas entered Western Esoteric practice. The first is via Theosophy's interpretation of Tibetan ideas (i.e this video), and the other is via early 80s/90s reinterpretations of Jung along Theosophical lines that formed the basis for Chaos Magic, A lot of his ideas on Complexes (patterns/collections of emotional & identity responses that we build during childhood or traumatic events) were re-interpreted as subconscious programs that could be used to create "tulpas" that acted as subliminal agents.

The Tibetan concept of Tulpas fascinate me. I like to imagine that the Wing Gremlin in the Twilight Zone episode and movie, was a perfect example of a Tulpa. No one could see it except its unwitting creator, Mr Valentine who was an electronic engineer and author who was morbidly terrified of flying. The same with the giant Rabbit Harvey or the Monster from the Id In Fantastic Planet.

No one could see it because it simply moved out of view. There isn't much anything deep about that episode.
@Mike-eo5mw Жыл бұрын
@@AddMoreQuarters Such a creature appearing on the wing of a jet, ripping an engine apart is pretty damn deep. He said he would "like to imagine" it could have been a tulpa. It's actually a solid theory. Everything fits, the terror of aerophobia causing a manifestation. If you can imagine the gremlin, why not imagine an explainable origin of the gremlin?

I liked the video quite a bit, been living with my own "tulpa" for awhile now, ended up evolving the creation process suggested with my own beliefs, so having someone willing to explain from their perspective/interpretation of a potential origin has provided some quality information, been looking to try as many different techniques and collective opinions of third parties has definitely been a great help through the whole practice so far, hope life's been treating you well

Im reminded of the film "Drop Dead Fred" in which a young girl with a neglectful and abusive Mother, has an imaginary friend. When she gets older and trys to "grow up" and dispense of her friend she tells him to drop dead and that he doesent exist, which makes the imaginary friend get sick and start dying.

So a Tulpa is a manifistation that one makes with consentration and meditation that can potentially rebel. Good to know. I'm writing a fictional universe about monster slayers and I wanted to include entities like the Slenderman in my mythos. But I wanted to make sure I got the terms correct. Maybe a new name is needed for an entity that exists based on belief. My Universe heavily involves the Cthulhu Mythos, and perhaps an explanation for entities like Slenderman could be Azathoth subcontiously creating entities from the collective thoughts of humans. Enough people invision it, the more likely the Blind Idiot God wills it into being. Sometimes the mere thought of a monster can become itself a monster. It'll need a new name though. Need to make a distinction between Tulpas and these beings.
@mystai6 ай бұрын
Not exactly. As I mentioned in the video, the idea that a Tulpa can rebel in any way isn't present in Tibetan sources, that is much more of Western idea influnced by folkloric and literary tales like the Golem of Prague & Shelley's Frankenstein.
@captaindemobeard95606 ай бұрын
@@mystai Noted. Perhaps a better explanation of western stories of Tulpas rebelling could be demons pretending to be Tulpas? What do you think?

@@captaindemobeard9560 My understanding of it is that if it rebels, it isn't a Tulpa. That idea is more synonymous with Western Thoughtforms than anything genuinely Tibetan.

Awesome video, highly interesting, thank you. A thought occurred to me the other day after years of research of spiritual topics. It is evident that our thoughts and intentions have the power to create things on the astral plane (maybe other planes as well), whether consciously or not. Going out on a limb here but do you think it is possible that humans can do this because we are, at our core, aspects of the divine or more precisely that we are creators gods(with a small g) and that we all part of the larger entity that we call God? Thanks. :)

What if Gods that nations serve are servitors or egregores/thought forms etc? That's why they always demand worship and sacrifice because they need to be fed? If you don't pay them attention there is a serious penalty... I dunno... just thinking..

I'm late coming across this video, but I was just thinking a positive form of this (because the whole point is to develop a relationship with something higher than your egoic "self") could be what's referred to as Ishwara in some forms of spirituality. Ishwara in Advaita Vedanta for instance is a worldly incarnation of god towards which one can focus bhakti (devotion/love). Ishwara can take any form the devotee finds pleasing to worship. Those who are considered to be awakened continue to devote themselves to Ishwara within Maya even after having "been outside of" (for lack of accurate terms) Maya. Ishwara still exists and is still creator in this reality.

when people die, I wonder if they just linger on the astral and create thoughtforms that look exactly like their loved ones in life? they eventually must be forced to create "enjoyment" bodies to digest food and drink alcohol, have sex, (generate energy and motion) etc...... and maybe when the rest of their family dies they can inhabit the forms created by their blood relation so that the astral life is more fulfilling than dead shell forms........ or maybe it's all illusion, but that defies reasonable logic. if all is dream than nothing is dream.... or illusion needs to be defined in contrast to physical reality or why create another word for it? are we talking about mental reality vs. physical reality and the magician can slip between these worlds once the emanation bodies are created? time/space vs. space/time? ordinary physical humans have dreams where they are enjoying food and having sex..... as evolution unravels itself the veil must get very thin indeed.

While not necessarily related to Tulpas, the Islamic philosopher Ibn Sina (Aviccena) established the idea that our soul makes use of the imagination after death by connecting to celestial luminaries to produce its experiences of heaven or hell in line with what it believes it deserves. The idea was that such experiences were Suspended Images, which got taken up by later philosophers like Suhrawardi & Shahazuri.
