people are being dissapointed in this, and i understand,,, but me personally? this game looks INSANE. 200 player lobbies, along with a bunch of mini games, in SPACE, on a giant map, with gorilla locomotion, and the graphics look crazy,, AND its FREE. definitely playing this as soon as it comes out

people say that the game will have 200 players in each lobby... I mean, I think it will be a bit chaotic, it's already the case in certain GTag servers and on top of that there's just 10 players maximum in a gtag server. I hope that it will have good moderation and that it will be optimized to support as many people without lagging the server.

I think, completely honestly, this game is what's going to kill gorilla tag, in a good way. I've been playing gorilla tag since year one, september 2021. and after going on 3 years, I'm surprised it didnt die last year. the games been noticeably, shit, since 2022 summer, you cant change the style of a game without, also changing the style of the game. it cant have such a clash. the quality of things have gotten much worse too. it feels like axiom has been begging for this to be their saving grace out of mediocrity. gorilla tag was revolutionary with its concept but after mountains it shouldve stopped there, and shouldve stayed simple, it is mismatched which makes it visually hard too look at, and its community is already bad enough. it's hard for people to look at and say "axiom has made amazing games" when it's there only example. which is where I get off the note of gorilla tag sucking to actually boost OD, this game obviously is inspired, and I dont think you guys wanted to reinvent the wheel so I don't blame reusing locomotion, and it actually realistically give a reason for devs to be creative because you made something that is unique, and this time, objectively good. it feels more like you actually loved making this one compared to post summer GT, I can noticeably tell gorilla tag was meant to be a starting point, an idea put out into the world to call for someone to do better. it shouldve been that way, but it amalgamated and I do feel like this is meant to sweep it under the rug, and I dont hate that it does that. it hurts more to see the game rot like this than to see it go because the game had already been perfected by 2022, and by now it's running thin on ideas, I think this one is to actually run on a schedule, a plan that doesnt require constant effort. it was always a losing battle to make a full set of hats monthly, make a new map monthly. so again, I dont hate that this is obviously a replacement. because objectively it's a good thing, even if my attachment is to gorilla tag. the game also looks really cool too, I cant say it doesnt.

A lot of former Echo players who have been helping with testing and direction shared the same concerns. There was a point that the game was split into two modes, and because of the physics, this version was going to allow them to push a product out a bit quicker. Zero-g is just going to be coming at a later time... but what I did play before the switch was pretty awesome.

Ya I'm kinda disappointed this. The gameplay looks like they just added a ball to gorilla tag. The game design itself looks clean. I like the low gravity aspect and it looks like it was done well. I do not like that the robots don't have legs. It looks unfinished and lazy. I get making a game is hard but come on it's just a mashup of echo and gorilla tag, there's nothing else to it. Got to say the arena looks great though

I'm actually an official creator brought on by Another Axiom. They provided me and a few others with the snapshot a little under 24 hours before we could share it. I plan on actually doing a deep dive after I have more time to review the footage and see what questions my community has.
