Unit comp changed in Tankbustas too; now it's a Nob w/ 5 Tankbustas for 120 points (per the app). So, Tankbustaz with Pulsa Rokkits, led by Big Mek w/ SAG = 5D3 S10 AP-3 3 DMG, hitting on 4's, re-rolling 1's. This in the Dread Mob looks DELICIOUS.

A couple things I really like about the Breakas - 2x Bomb Squigs give us play to peel off a warden outside of combat. The AP -2 and Flat 3 Damage is wonderful into the Warden profile. we'll keep them in lethal range with Ghaz during wagh and i think they'll do wonderful. I'd like to see them at 120 instead of 140, but I can see the unit replacing the 1x5 Nobz lots of War Horde lists ran

Wreckas is a realy interesting unit to be led by a big mek, getting that drilla into combat with a scary bodyguard, the ws3+ is a wolrd of diference in orks.

With the "start of battle round" waagh, it was impossible to blance Orks, about time it became commandphase. Also now Ba big hunt is kind of playable

Tsons and Necrons are the big winners. Orks did quite well, slightly bummed about AOC change impacting Bully Boyz Hulking Brutes strat, but it is a worse AOC anyway since it’s only anti-shooting. Overall changes to AOC help out our generally weak AP and 6” DS makes our screens and chaff units that much better. Also worth mentioning, Meganobz may now be costed (more) properly given their 5+++ is Waaagh-driven, I doubt they’ll ever return to 30pts now.

AoC and the likes are nerfed, does that mean that the battle wagon inate "Ramshackle but Rugged: Each time an attack is allocated to this model, worsen the Armour Penetration characteristic of that attack by 1." is unaffected because its no stratagem but a built in ability?

It’s actually 5D3 + 2 shots from the rokkit pistols. That’s an average of 12 Damage 3 S10 AP3 shots

My speed freaks best strat against many armies was turn one waaaghs and charges. That meant super forward positioning, and now if they enemy goes first, I can't get my 5+ save. This I feel actually nerfs speed freaks by making one of their few better strats that bit less viable. All while completely ignoring speed freaks in rules and points again!? I'm thinking GW just is ignoring them and doesn't plan to touch them through 10th now... major shame.

the waaagh change is a massive buff. Waagh turn one speed freaking while fun, was never going to be a competively viable choice sadly. I wish GW paid some attention to them but alas.

I think I will consider breaka boyz / tankbustas SWAT teams alternatives, maybe both in same trukk in warhorde, or sided to flash gitz if I need to put a leader in the 6 boyz squad. Is it me or AOC nerf incentivises us to MSU too ?

Dread mob player here. I think we’re the biggest winners here: breaka boyz now go up to AP4 against vehicles because we can push the button for +2AP on critical wounds. Which will be all 4+. Have them lead by a big mek which gives them access to the detachment rule and lets them ignore enemy units and terrain AND lets them reroll advance rolls is HUGE! Not to mention the BM has a S12 weapon himself. They can kill every tank in the game now or push for sustained against elite infantry with S7 AP2, D3 weapons Just for dread mob I also LOVE the tank bustas. I think you made a mistake in your slide. It’s not 4D3 but 5D3+2 shots for the squats. Adding the SAG for the RR and also giving the SAG +1 to hit and +1 to wound is a real shooting threat against vehicles. The one thing dread mob had a huge problem with. Already play tested this vs dark angels and the tank bustas annihilated a vindicator and killed 3DWK in shooting without the SAG. I’m pumped

So Tankbustas are technically still 90 points in the MFM and that takes precedence over the app! 120 was the old codex cost I’m pretty sure, and let’s be real this unit is NOT IT at 120, so there is a very good chance this was a copy paste error if they designed these units back when they wrote the codex. However we also don’t have tourney points (MFM) for Brekka boys yet so I don’t think they’re legal lol
