I’ve made a Mac & Cheese for friends and family for years that they love and request often. When I saw you make this Mac and cheese I decided to give it a try for our Italian Christmas supper. I am so glad I did everyone really enjoyed it! Even the vegetarians gave it a try and loved the flavor. I now have two go to Mac and Cheese favorites. Oh, YUM! Looks divine! Very close to my own Mom's (Irish) mac recipe. Pretty much the same, but she used bacon - LOTS - mixed in, and saute'd onion and green peppers. As kids, we consumed tons of it. Haven't made it in a while. I'll have to make it again soon.
