Orthodox Jew Prepares for SHABBAT | Shabbos Prep DITL | Orthodox Jewish Mom (Jar of Fireflies)

In this video I prepare for Shabbat in a Day in the Life style video! I take you along from right after I wake up and start my morning prayers, then into a discussion to catch you up on what's been going on since the High Holidays ended plus what is coming up next now that they are over. Then we work on cleaning the kitchen, and then things start to go off the wire. I wanted to bake brownies, but I was out of brownie mix, so I ended up baking cute little cakes instead. But that's ok because the cakes turned out super cute. After lunch the kids went off to play at a neighbors house, and I spent my kid free time cleaning the bathrooms, doing laundry, and cleaning the floors. Time well spent in my humble opinion :) After the kids came home, we took our Dog Bella off to stay the weekend with a dog trainer and then came home to start setting the table and arranging flowers for Shabbat. Before I knew it Shabbat was almost here! So I showed you all the food we cooked for our Shabbat meals, and then went off to shower and change for the Shabbat.
