ഇദ്ദ, സിനിമാ കഥകളിൽ ഇന്നേവരെ പറയാതിരുന്ന ഒരു ജീവിത കഥ ആദ്യമായി ആവിഷ്കരിച്ച ചിത്രം.
ഭർത്താവ് മരണപ്പെട്ട് പോയവൾ നാല് മാസവും പത്ത് ദിവസവും അടച്ചിട്ടൊരു മുറിയിൽ പുറം ലോകവുമായി ബന്ധമില്ലാതെ ഇദ്ദയിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ആ മുറിയിൽ ഉതിർന്നു വീഴുന്ന അവളുടെ വേദനയുടെ കണ്ണീര് അവിടം അവളിൽ മാത്രമായി ഒതുങ്ങുന്നില്ല.
വൈധവ്യം ആചാരങ്ങളിലൂടെ മറുവേദനയാകുന്ന ജീവിത കഥ മാത്രമല്ല " ഇദ്ദ " നിങ്ങളോട് പറയുന്നത്.
