He was a nut. Great musician, great innovator, banjo legend and my personal favorite of all, and I am a banjo player with 45 years of pick time. But sometimes he just went too far onstage. His hot-dogging was a distraction sometimes. If I was Bobby I would have been pissed off at him a lot.

He said the banjo was the most inbred deliverance squeal, like a pig instrument in the world He was sick of traveling and he was only really making fun at this point I loved him though. He got to entertain before the banjo became a symbol of deliverance and butt buddies
