My teacher showed us this movie in anatomy and I was actually interested in the movie. I watched it when I got home. What stuck with me is the fact that every white blood cell on the police force thinks Osmosis did the wrong thing by making Frank throw up the oyster. Osmosis did the right thing by making Frank throw up and it sucks how everyone treated him because he made the right decision for Frank's health.

Honestly the pimple scene didn't phase me. I forgot about it and now upon rewatching it, didn't get much of a reaction out of me. It's ew, but like it's not the worst. Now the scene that has stuck with me is the scene where he eats the egg off the ground. That traumatized me as a child. I mean this movie kick started my firm belief that people are disgusting. 2020 only proved me right. I mean the fact it spread so fast was because people didn't wash their hands or cover their dang mouths when they coughed.

IT DOES I only know this because he’s like. Flirting with a girl or smth??? And they accidentally bump a switch in his brain (something of that nature) and he v* on the girl and as an emetophobe myself my mom would always let me know when to look away at that part lol Apparently it looks super fake tho so if you end up seeing it I think it won’t be too triggering? I think it just looks white and not yucky but that’s just what I’ve heard secondhand Edit: watched the video and now I see he talked about the yucky part 😭 there’s a reason I don’t watch this movie as an adult....

Emetophobes unite! It's such an unfortunate phobia that's so hard to explain to people, because 99% of the time people will say "well no one like p*king" but they just can't comprehend what it's like, especially when you're triggered by being nauseous yourself which just makes things 10x worse. Or the assholes who, after you tell them, will make g*ging noises at/towards you...

9:10 You never mentioned the "Saliva Boat" wreckage investigation scene after Jones meets Drix. (the very thing that caused Frank's "Sore throat".) I don't remember Thrax calling himself "the Red Death". The interpretation I took was - Thrax was dubbed "la muerte roja" by a small (clearly hysterical from fear) multi-eyed germ that has a twice reoccurring flash freezing gag. The only time its revealed that the phrase "The Red Death" is revealed; is when Jones contacts a information center to have the phrase translated from Spanish as "The Red Death".
