I really appreciate your review and your service. I just wanted to chime in here because I caught a piece of a jacketed hollow point .357 in the stomach as a bystander in the 90's. It was a drive-by while walking home from work around 2am. The piece, about 4mm, bounced off a concrete wall and lodged in my abdomen. It was not life threatening, but it hurt like hell. Nobody was shot and killed that night. The shooter was also the driver and not very bright because he took his eyes off the road when he opened fire, jumped the curb, and hit a light pole at a Mister Donut shop 100 yards away. It goes without saying that the cops were already present at the scene, some with fresh coffee in their hands.

Loved the review. You did a great job of getting into the logic of the scene by discussing the minutiae. Have you done any other videos?

john wick teeter totters on reality and fiction and it makes the story so beautiful the gun work, reloads and movements of keanu are superb and the driving is amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5:20 I obviously don't have any type of weapons training, especially compared to this guy, but I thought that John Wick was holding his gun closer to him because I was approaching a door and didn't want to risk someone getting a hold of it if they're waiting around the corner. I may be wrong though, would be cool if someone could tell me.

More likely he didn't go long because he needed to keep on walking in the scenes. If he go long, then his hand would wobble more. So he fold his hand so he can aim more accurately while walking.

In short. If you shooting still, long is better. If you are moving, fold is better.

@@khairulanas5659 that, and as well as the fact that the building he's in is a club. People may very well be in every corner of the building. if I had to take a guess, he's assuming that every space he's in is a close quarter situation due to how crowded the building was at the time. so in short, he's purposefuly folding because he doesn't know if a crowd was waiting for him around the corner. that, or he's extremely rusty.

Very good choice of word "bullet resistant". If the suit does stop the bullet, you internal organ still would not be able to keep up with the injury

10:50 The point about the actors having their back to the wall and then rotating out to shoot is interesting because I suspect that they intentionally do it that way for the film so that we can see their faces more easily. If they did what the proper action of facing the wall and leaning out slightly the audience would just see their backs which probably doesn't look as engaging.

I looove videos like this. Great content and loved itttt!!!!! I did think that there were certain factors that were not taken into account(his history as one of the best that gives him confidence) but nevertheless, thats just an idea. I did love it a lot, and mad respect to the guy doing the ratinng

He went to Ukraine to fight for two months to make some KZbin videos then left when he allegedly hurt his "knee." Then he got involved in a hit and run accident and is being sued. He's basically a wanna be.

There’s actually tons of hand placements for throwing a knife and the difference in them make it so it’s easier to hit at closer range and easier to hit at further range and they give you the ability to predict what rotation it’ll be when it reaches that distance. The way he held the knife is absolutely a way to through a knife though, and I do think it would be improperly paced if he spent too long on throwing knives! lol. But I just thought I’d mention that different techniques for throwing knives produce different results.

I can vouch for adrenaline. Was in a fist fight, got stabbed in the gut, it only registered to me as a hard punch. I held my side and kept hitting him with a my fists. Honestly (we were both 13), the knife didn't register. I'm hella fortunate that he didn't stab me again. Not sure why, but he ran away. I took my bike and was going to ride home. A friend pointed out a small tear in my favorite shirt. I pulled it up, there was an about 1/2 inch cut, with a little bit of bleeding. Luckily for me, a lifeguard noticed the wound was puckered, which meant it was a deep wound. By the time the Paramedics got there I was going into shock. I'd been stabbed in the stomach (the organ) and was bleeding internally. So, I bearly felt it, it required exploratory surgery. So, John getting shot in the gut, even with a 22, is going to penitrate into vital organs. He could've finished up that fight, but would've been in a hospital for days.
