This has always been where I end up whenever I feel overwhelmed and/or want to feel relaxed. Going home really does make you feel like in the end, everything will be okay. I absolutely love this so damn much! Head and shoulders, easily, by far my favourite music piece of all time. I've been listening to this OST for hours upon hours ever since I watched Tite Kubo's Bleach. That guitar playing is so unbelievably dear to me, and I will probably be listening to Going Home for as long as I am allowed. I always had a fear of nostalgia and memories, it's the reason I always did my best to stay away from talking or hanging out with new people, interacting with loved ones, going out, watching shows/videos/anime/movies, listening to music and participating in or doing anything that I loved doing or being in the company of because I was afraid of those amazing and unforgettable experiences becoming nothing but a memory that I can never go back too. I know, it's a really messed up mentality, and I hated it that I hated to love things, to feel, feelings... but this song, this piece of music, this guitar playing, Shiro Sagisu, this unforgettable show, Bleach, the big 3 of anime and anime in general, made me realize one thing, one beautiful thing that I can't ever be grateful for enough: That the truth is, nothing becomes "nothing but" a memory. Everything I experience in life, whether I like them or not, will be with me forever. Nothing can take away the fact that it happened. Every little song I loved listening too, every single video, show, cartoon, anime or movie I loved watching, every one of the amazing people that have helped me or have been apart of my life, every single experience that I was apart of, everything in this world that I love, hate, miss, am nostalgic of.. will always be with me. Everything that happened thus far in my life, and everything that will happen, will undeniably be with me forever, whether I like it or not. So with that being said, there is no reason to be afraid, no reason to hesitate, and no reason to run away from doing what I love, what I want and what I believe in. I finally understand that I shouldn't be afraid of doing things that I absolutely love doing, talking and interacting with people I hold dearly or trying to be as empathetic as possible. Instead, I should do my best to have as much fun, joy and experience as much as I can, I should try to talk to everyone I want to talk to, I should try to do as much new things as I am able to and I should try to enjoy everything I can, because in doing so; I will be able to keep everyone and everything that are gone, that I miss, and let them live through my life, my experiences and through me. I'll be able to fit as much and hold as much as I can in this little thing called memory and keep it in my heart, keep it in my soul, by doing that, I'll be able to walk through this limited time I have on this earth, with the biggest smile on my face in the company of e v e r y t h i n g that I have ever done, so that when I leave this earth, I'll be able to die and keep every single moment that I have lived, as an undeniable, immortal and holy treasure.

This is off topic since this isn't Bleach related but I play this song at end of the year whenever I write my story of the year, this song makes me look back into memories I had as a young child, and now I am a young adult. I always think about my aunties that passed away, my great uncles and aunties, and my great grandma who recently passed away, and my old dog who passed away two years ago, even writing them does make my heart waver but it brings me peace to know that they are fine and no need to be hurt from this world. I smile to know that I had good memories in life that brought me great joy and inspiration, and those who passed before me had inspired me to continue my dream as an artist and soon will be an animator, maybe a musician too. Indeed that we all experience heart break sooner or later and we soon will have to learn to heal and move on, and let go of the past and let go of the loved ones who passed away before us, it's just nature and life, we have to move on and keep going. Because if we don't, we will miss out on our friends, family, and loved ones right NOW, if we stay in the past, we might even harm those around us even if we don't mean to. Follow your heart, forgive and move on, let go of the pain because it doesn't matter no more, what matters now is, well, right now, and a better future. Sitting here i grow calm but at the same time i feel uneven. A point of hell in my life surges back to me with each note. And as the bitterness sweeps me over, im reminded of those good times aswell. The times of peace and serenity amongst the anguish. This song (including this extended edition), all of these songs; I dont think it to be a stretch to say I may be dead without them. To calm me down, or to put into perspective what matters. Not revenge, not anger, but simply letting go of all of that, and going home. To anyone going through something in secret, or whatever it may be. Just know theres always something worth fighting forward for. Theres always a reason you come back to yourself, because you deserve to be you. No matter how hard it gets, just keep fighting it. Whatever “it” may be. Whatever it is that puts you down.
