For those of you newly diagnosed or otherwise with osteoporosis, I have been doing this routine for 2 weeks and cannot believe how much better I feel. Just listening to Sara speak is comforting but these videos are really helpful. Thank you to Bob Brad and Sara and I hope there will be more videos of this.

Please share what your routine is exactly. How many times do you do each exercise before moving on to the next?

@@wendytravis6427 Here it is in a nutshell:kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5jaYaWAlMZpjc0. I do this 2-3 times if my back feels stiff or I have done something foolish to cause myself pain, too much yardwork, etc. Hope this helps

I have no idea what o o is complaining and being so negative about. If I understand correctly this is one portion of what we should be doing in terms of caring for our osteoporosis. Sara has said do a variety of exercises including, body weight resistance work, brisk walking and odd and random impact being best for bones. Sara thank you so much for sharing your expertise with us all.

This was very helpful and what I was looking for. I’ve been doing the reset and it has relaxed my back and helped with tension, especially in the lower back. Glad to now add these exercises for the muscles along the spine. I was doing them as she was explaining and really liked the leg lengthening one!
@lisac77522 жыл бұрын
I've been doing these exercises for several months now except for the leg lengthening one. For some reason, my back hurts the next day. May be due to bulging discs in my lower back. But the other 3 work well for me. Thank you, Sara, I look forward to more of your videos.
@jmc80763 ай бұрын
Anomalies on MRIs, CTs etc don’t always correlate with pain. Many have bulging discs but not true source of pain. Best is to see a surgeon or physiatrist in add’n to a good PT who don’t dx based on imaging. Take care.

By the way Sara is 81 years young with Osteoporosis. She’s in better shape than most 60 year olds. I found your comments judgmental and offensive.

Shall definitely be giving these exercise a try as curious what the outcome will be due; have one hip slightly higher than the other (as so did my Mother/Grand and Great Grandmothers as well as my only daughter does) however no adjustments in footwear has ever been suggested and our gait appears to have been normal until in my case of a few fractures that has definitely affected such and my posture.

Oh, thank you! I will do these. I'm just wondering how often per day? Only once? Can or should they be done more than once for pain and strengthening?

Thank you for this detailed demonstration! If I understand correctly, decompression and realignment and strengthening important muscles along the spine are meant to prevent or reduce the risk of compression fracture, correct? What I’m unclear on is whether these exercises are able to improve the composition of the bone itself, in terms of bone quantity, quality and strength? Would love to get clarity on this! Thank you again, Sara, Bob and Brad! 😊

@@BobandBrad Thank you! I remember Sara Meeks saying in one of your other recent videos that she was being swamped by emails. I did email her as well, asking for the handouts she’d offered to us if we emailed her requesting them. I haven’t heard from her. So, I’m wondering if you could perhaps ask Sara my question above, in the event you’ll do another Q&A video with her? Just an idea. 😊

This video is embarrasing. I've been 50+ years in this business. CM comment below said it nicely. This has NOTHING to do with strenghtening bone among other things. So much wrong here. This here is an example of what medicine has become. She has the nerve to copyright this. Give me a break. Finally I must ask ...this person being a healthcare profesional...does she look like she takes care of herself. Give me a break
