My name is Nick George with Clouds Diamond Sharpening. I sharpen on a diamond sharpening wheel (grandpa made the wheels shape and figured out how to use the diamond process. that's so fine at 1500 diamond grit, that polishes your blade sharp. I fix any clippers that have parts available. I can sharpen any blade or scissor that can come apart. I sharpen convex, semi convex, chunkers, thinning, fabric, surgical, and little scissor at a fair price.
Check it out on my website www.diamondedge2015.com

Hey when I turn on my fast feed it sounds really quiet. Blades don’t really move. But engine is making some noise. Nothing has happened to it-two years old and only used 20 times. Looks brand new. Any idea of what happened?
@cloudsdiamondsharpening3973

Hello. If it was not dropped then the field is probably fine. The blade might be seized up you need to break it free with your fingers. Break Free the cutting blade is the one in between the big large comb blade and the clipper. Oil it and if it still does not work then one of the magnets broke off the Armature and is now wedged into the field. It might just be in the defective piece if you did not drop it

How many washers are suppose to be in the arm lever ? I disassembled the lever to zero gap and a washer fell out and basically I couldn't find it on the floor. So is one washer ok ? The lever seems loose even when tightening the screw

Noe Murillo one washer is fine. it sounds like you lost a brass plate that goes between the blade carriage and housing so the lever don't move as easy.

5150Cuts hello. you can do it but it won't be worth the money. you will need some kind of pcb that would convert a.c. to D.C. or get a D.C. powered motor and make motor mounts. This clippers is a.c. so a battery wouldn't work alone and you would need a pcb to charge it or take it apart every time to charge directly. In glad you enjoy my channel and thanks for watching.

5150Cuts np. I'm glad you enjoy my channel. I'm sorry I can't make a pcb or a battery. You'll need to do a lot of home work. First you'll need to get the power input and then find a battery for the same power. Then find a pcb to convert a.c. to D.C.. Then find a rotary motor that's driven by the battery. Then you me a transformer to charge it. Plus a switch to turn off. You'll need a 3d printer to print a motor mount to mount the motor. Or just buy a Wahl bravura cordless they are nice. They are for animal but will work great on human hair.
