nice! this feels like the pishifat mapping series. thought i might just brainstorm some ideas that would be cool to see: explaining AR, CS, OD, star rating, BPM etc. explaining modifications aiming and accuracy timeframe for hitcircles and sliders playstyles (tablet kb, mouse kb etc.) singletapping vs alternating vs tap-x vs others how ranks work (SS, S, A, B... even I don't know sometimes such as 93% acc and getting a B) would be great getting clean input and insight from a top player! really great work

Omg as soon as I applied the mouse settings it immediately felt so much more natural and a lot less jerky than before. The frustrations and jealousy of tablet players soon dissipated as I realized how gunked up my settings were. Thank you so much for the useful tips.

This video is amazing. Detailed and yet simple explanations, images to guide new players to know what each thing does. And some humor to get a kek out of even the oldest players. Big props bubble!! *There needs to be a revamp of the old school tutorials in this format* 727/5 stars mate! cheers

I have been playing osu for 1 year and 10 months, started with tablet, and used raw input with it since day one, why do people not recommend it?
@tociart
@tociart 6 жыл бұрын
I used to have it too but a Windows Update screwed it and causes the cursor to be stuck at the top left corner of the screen. So I had to turn it off and use my tablet driver to make the active area for osu smaller (it works the same as sensitivity x1.3+ if you've had raw input on).

Something most of us don't think about and you maybe forgot to mention is the method of input you can use, like mouse only, mouse + keyboard, tablet + keyboard, tablet tapping + keyboard streams AND maybe mention some up and downsides.

In video 3:50 about full screen. The author said “windows then full screen both introduced input delay” . Was that wrong? In Game, the toggle option“Fullscreen mode” pops out the explanation that “Switches to dedicated fullscreen mode. Decreases cursor latency in Windows 7+” Meanwhile what is means”both introdunced” Am I heard wrong? In all, It is a good video. Thanks Bubbleman

@squidgrill

Snaking sliders makes the body of the slider “snake” out from the head. In gameplay, this is a *really* quick animation, so it’s barely noticible.
