Unrelated, but how am i supposed to better myself as a mapper when people flat out reject/ignore my mod request? Instead, they follow the notion of making more maps in order to better myself. The issue with this is that I'll keep making mistakes that are a core mechanic of the game and it'll turn into a habit. I can't recognize these mistakes as I'm both inexperienced and flat out bad at mapping. Spamming more maps without knowing what I do right and what I do wrong isn't really gonna help. Also, most people push for M4M instead of NM. I'd be down for a M4M, but I stray away from this due to my lack of knowledge. It's not that I'm lazy, I'd actually love to properly mod a map.
