Russo emailing his notes to the wrong guy is the most TNA thing ever.
@wisewolftony7 жыл бұрын
Ashley Knight Its also the most Vince Russo thing ever. As this is coming from the man who thought Kevin Owens was the worst main event champion of all time. And then KO & Zayn have little to no talent on the mic or as in ring performers. So I guess you need no talent to become by far SD two top heels. And arguably the most entertaining act in all of WWE. Or that you can blow in the ring and yet still put on some of the best matches of the decade. With the likes of Zayn vs Nakamura, Owens vs Cena. Like someone who sucks in the ring could never carry a 47 year old Shane McMahon to one of the best Hell in a Cell matches of all time.

Daniel Philpott Its just shocking to me. Like having Double J or Dixie Carter alone running things should be enough to kill anything. Same with having Russo as the head of creative. Yet not only did they survive one of them but they were able to survive the triple shit storm of having them all running the promotion at the same time.

2004 - 2008 was when TNA was good. Since 2010 and onward it started as a downward snowball effect ever since.
@klammyvagikarp75787 жыл бұрын
I've been listening to the entire history of TNA reviews by Bryan and Vinny from 2006 - 2013. It doesn't sound like TNA have ever been good. For sure when I think back to the 2006 - 2008 era I watched, nothing seemed any good apart from the Steiner Maths and the Angle v Joe matches. Which are the only things I can remember from when I watched the show. How was the destruction of Angle's health entertaining? How was watching the TNA talent getting squashed by whatever WWE reject they poached any good? This all happened well before the Monday Night Wars 2.0 happened in 2010. TNA has always been pathetic.

You ever know someone with an old dog that's riddled with illness, keeps shitting on the floor and can barely move and you try to tell them that they should put the poor thing out of its misery, maybe invest in a new dog like that wacky chihuahua or that hard-working chiba inu or that young pack of bulldogs or even whatever dog breed ROH can be represented by in this tortured metaphor but they keep the poor thing alive regardless? Thats pretty much TNA in a nutshell.

Rewatching this in 2023 and inexplicably TNA/Impact is still alive and, even more inexplicably, putting out a decent product. Unfortunately for them, given the landscape, I can't ever see them being anything more than a SUPER distant 3rd behind WWE and AEW. It's kind of a shame, because 2005 - 2008 TNA was so red hot and could have really become something... But Russo happened.
