@@cnsayin8847 Okay hear me out I know Paul maybe an arrogant, mean, grumpy and downright abusive jerk toward his Pokémon, Ash and Co. and especially to Chimchar, but despite all of his negative traits Paul isn’t entirely evil. He’s more of an example of being a tough coach towards his Pokémon rather than being an actual villain, a tyrant or a world conquerer. Plus he does change his ways towards the end dp saga. So I would place him as the final entree of the Grey Area as some small signs of redemption.

@@at00ss16 I admit you make some solid points, but back to his treatment towards Chimchar. It's worse than how his other Pokemon are treated. How many other characters in the anime who have had about the same, or more, recurring times as Paul have traumatized a Pokemon?!

@@cnsayin8847 I would say nobody else in the entire anime treats their Pokémon terribly like Paul. Now that you’ve mentioned it I’d probably place Paul as the first entree in the Bad to Evil category mainly due to how abusive he was towards Chimchar. I think better candidates for the Grey Area would be Trip or Gary Oak. Because unlike Paul, they are not abusive towards their Pokémon.

@@at00ss16 You're definitely right about where Trip and Gary's ranking in the Grey Area. As for Paul, I think he would rank lower mostly because the people of these channels would treat this as animal cruelty (which it is similar), which would cost a lot of morality points.
