great summary of the music. absolutely agree. they might seem chaotic and simply a loud mess if you were to hear it somewhere in the background, but if you really listen and watch them play, you hear plenty of catchy little things and realise how difficult it is to play it all at such tempo and with these constant changes

I had a chance to meet and interview this band in person on this year's Pohoda Festival in Slovakia. It was great time, they were super cool, played a great show in the evening with Yoyoyoshie crowdsurfing, throwing the mic into the crowd and leaving a feedbacking guitar screaming on the floor of the stage after the show. Nobody understood a word they said on stage, but everyone got what they wanted to say, because, you know, the cliche regarding the music being universal language is true. So, if by any means someone from OB reads this - cheers from journalist with Nausica and Super Mario tattoos! It was a great experience meeting you! I am very happy you made it to KEXP!

The skills of these ladies amaze me. Some notes. Watch the drums and bass with amazing timing, tempo changes and working as one unit. The gnarly bass tone! Yoshi playing ambient, noise, impossible riffs to fill out the sound. She is an origami godzilla! Floating on the foundation the bass and drums lay down. Vocals ranging from subtle to sublime to silly. This band is amazing offering more with each listen. Not everyone will understand what they are doing but I am amazed.
