I had the same 'is this really happening' feeling when I finally got LASIK, it's been a month since and it still feels so weird that I actually had it done!

This was really interesting and it's awesome you were finally able to do something you've wanted for a long time! Apologies if this sounds strange, but when I first saw you with your hair up on beauty news recently, it made my heart happy for you that it went okay. 💛

I'm a 49yr old male. I got my ears done this past October 2nd. I already see that I'm gonna get a revision done on my ear lobes and more work on my left ear. Most Otoplasty surgeries get redone because the ears pop out. My only regret is not getting this done when I was young. I live in Chicago, so I got it done at the resident clinic of plastic surgery at Northwestern Hospital. A 4th year resident doctor performed the surgery with a well experienced doctor there watching over. Cost me $1500 dollars and it was performed under local anesthesia.

I just had to pause your video (up to 8:45), because so many things you are saying are EXACTLY how I feel. I have wanted my ears pinned for as long as I can remember (I am now in my 30's) and I also got to the point where I thought to myself that this would never happen...but I have a consultation tomorrow and even that has been making me smile all day! My mum also says I don't need it, but she also supports me because she also knows even as a little girl I wanted this! xo

Seriously I'm a tyrant! I've also slipped up a few times and gone back on the patches. I'm saving a hell of a lot of money though! It'll all be worth it in the end!!

I don't know if they have them in Australia, but electric cigarettes helped me quit smoking. I went down to the ones that don't have nicotine and then just quit.

Ouch on the cost. Worth it though, I guess I'll be looking at more for a breast reduction one day when I get brave enough!

Hez_am_i Try to get your insurance to cover it. I was able to get it deemed medically necessary and only paid $150 USD (not sure what country you are in). I highly recommend getting it done if you have back pain and such. Best thing ever.

@@Ummmmmmmm6no what? how did you manage to get it covered by insurance? What did you say to convince them
@Ummmmmmmm6no2 жыл бұрын
@@iaccidentallysubbed1005 I'm in the US (I don't know if that matters). Basically, I went to see a surgeon. They took photos, documented all I have told them with all the problems I had over the years and submitted it to my insurance. I was told what really sells it is usually the photos. I had tubular breasts so it made them look even bigger. I also had a correctly sized bra so I was like a H cup (look into the subreddit abrathatfits for more info on how to get your true size) so the size sounds very bad. I've read that some insurances may require you to get physical therapy or chiropractor stuff done but mine didn't. Mine came back with an approval after a week or so (I actually got the call while at Dollywood - how fitting). If your insurance denies you, you can keep appealing. Most surgeons know what to do to try to get that approval.
