Got my Tiny's yesterday afternoon and had time to hit a creek for a couple of hrs. I was able to reel in 2 chunks within 30 minutes on the Classic Crawdad. Water temp was 47° and light wind. Loving the new Tiny's @OttDefoe

Got Slims and Tinys on their way. Got a Medium heavy 6'6" bait caster setup with 14# floro for the slims and a 6'6" medium Spinning rod with 10# for the tinys. Cant wait to try them out on the local Bass pond. Everyone else kills it there, I have only landed one. Hoping that changes this year.

Ott, I caught my first tiny bass but it was almost 3 lbs. Used a 7' St.Croix medium power fast action spinning rod. Platinum signature reel 6.0:1 and the color of my tiny was citrus shad rapala. I have a feeling it was the first of many that I'm going to catch on the Rapala og tiny. 🐟🎣

I cannot seem to tune my reel to throw tiny, I’m using a signature series (not platinum) bait caster and even with all the magnets on and the centrifugal brake all the way to 12, and the spool tension almost too tight, it still tries to backlash when I cast tiny and don’t perfectly thumb the spool. I don’t understand, what am I doing wrong? Using 30lbs braid to leader.

So I got some slims and Tinys, they all have a different angle for the line tie, and I got about 3 or 4 of them that won’t run straight, what’s the best way to adjust them? I feel like I’m gonna break it trying to move it around, what do you do to tune them?
@OttDeFoeFishing3 жыл бұрын
Can you send me a pic of them? I’ve not heard of this happening. Odefoe17@gmail.com

Ott - When would you pick up a Tiny over a Shad Rap? Interchangeable?
@OttDeFoeFishing3 жыл бұрын
Some days yes. Others they aren’t and not sure why to be honest. Just the mood of the fish I guess. Shad rap 6 & 7 do run deeper than a tiny so that changes things too. If there’s wood cover I’m going with Tiny. Just comes through it way better.

If you will drill you a small hole in the front of ole tiny and add you an 1/8 to 1/4 oz of lead. Then epoxy over it n paint it back. Ole tiny becomes bad news bear tiny in the 7 to 10 foot range. They ain’t seen that YET 😁
