Have you considered just building proper canals?

That would require someone with a brain to make change. No, they rather have floods and wildfires instead of fixing the problem.

We have one big canal in Ottawa, but most of the flooding happened pretty far out in the suburbs. And our suburbs stretch at least 20km in each direction from downtown.

Wind is a finite resource. Wind has to be shared like water. We have a huge problem with the lack of wind and unfortunately it has to do with the amount of wind the wind farms harvest. If you can get them shut down even only temporary will save a lot of infrastructure and lives. Thank you for listening;

What will happen if It’s the snow geez …. Obviously all theses thunderstorms and rains were because of the wildFire

You must be joking right? Wildfire smoke actually causes there to be LESS thunderstorms in the area.

that's ok. It's metric...and its the rate that's important anyway. 100mm a year and 100mm a second will be drastically different.

@therealeverydaytech then to translate it for you, a millimeter is about a 7.35 wee wiskers or half a smidge (the furlong type, not the fathom type). 😜 Time to get off your tail and learn a proper system of measurement.
