Even though Pimisi seems to be in the middle of nowhere since it's dead center in the perpetually delayed Lebreton Flats redevelopment, it's actually very close to a number of attractions. If you walked due south for about 500m you'd be in the middle of Chinatown, to the north a similar distance is the War Museum, Holocaust memorial, Chaudière falls, and the zip line across the Ottawa river

I'm weird, but I found humor (or is it humour because I'm referring to something in Ottawa?) in the arrows on the ground in all of the stations at the spots where the doors are. I suppose the designers figured people don't know how to enter and exit a train without direction.
@JohnnyStrides3 жыл бұрын
I think they're their to tell people to wait on either side of the door and not right in the middle to allow people to exit. I actually really like this, I've knocked over too many idiots who stand right in front of the doors waiting to get on transit before they let everyone off.
@wizardsuth2 жыл бұрын
At first they had no such signage but apparently most Ottawa commuters couldn't figure out that they need to let people off the train before boarding. It's a good idea anyway, since it tells you where the doors will be when the train stops.

The joke called the LRT has been bleeding money for being quickly built and not tested but testing the patience of Ottawans who were forced to give up another joke for public transportation, OC Transpo busses. Not until fall of 2023. You used to be able to take the 97 bus from the airport to Greenboro and catch the OTrain there. But on an upbeat note, Our Hero was able to rescue several passengers from evil Tax-Grab Hoodlum... He was attempting to extort all passengers' nickles, dimes, and quarters and sticking change down his shorts inside secret pockets.... The Ottawa Police slapped the handcuffs on the Tax-Grab Hoodlum and now he is washing dishes at a local church... The money he plundered from poor souls are happy to know all the change was put inside a container inside the local church for charity... Good for the Ottawa Police.... TWO BIG THUMBS-UP.... Johnny is Toronto's Vlogger.... No more Mr. Evil Tax-Grab Hoodlum... Unless the CRA has more sinister characters..... The end.... Always in Good Taste.... CHEERS.... Be Supportive and Subscribe.....
