I've never had to do anything weird to remove a rocksett'd muzzle device. I just use elbow grease. Seems to have the same breaking strength as loctite blue but with greater resistance to heat. I guess it helps that I'm aware you don't have to use a ton of it to keep a torque'd muzzle device on--the torque is the main thing keeping a muzzle device on, rocksett is just insurance.

Any thoughts on the Aero Precision Lahar 30K? Been using it on 16" ar and ak but it feels too heavy on that setup. Feels great on my 10.5" ar. Paid $360 on Primary Arms

I have a Polonium K and instead of direct thread I'd suggest using Rearden mounts. They're pretty light and very simple. I've shot my Polonium K side by side with the RC2 and I cannot tell any difference between them. Whether one is louder than the other I don't actually know but the difference seems to be imperceptible to the human ear. Where you'll really notice a difference between the Polonium and the Polonium K is in the back pressure department. The Polo has significantly more back pressure than the K. Even the K is a gassy little bitch but the Polo is worse in that regard.

i love mine but i don’t have an adjustable gas block. it’s pretty gassy on a 10.5 pistol other than that i have hundreds of rounds through mine and it’s solid. took 9 months to get approved.

It is a little gassy. We are going to try a charging handle that’s designed for gas mitigation.

I ordered one today. How was the gas on it? I’m throwing it on my 11.5 geissele where it will live. I’ve heard the back pressure on the full size polonium can be gassy. Running a sprinco blue and h2 on that 11.5 already

@@thesoutherndrawBR are you running a standard weight buffer or like h2 or h3
@joelsmith4690
@joelsmith4690 2 ай бұрын
@@BensVFX07 Adjustable gas would be very nice, but H2 or H3 and a stronger/more powerful sprinco spring would help keep the action closed longer and less gas in face, this goes for any AR. I use a Geissele Super 42 buffer spring and weight in my AR with my Polo, which that combo is in-between a h2 and h3,.
