When Regina did not stop Rumple from working his magic on Pinocchio, I knew something had to be up with her. As much as I want to believe she has changed, I can't help but feel that she may have regressed back into her dark side. I feel that she may be motivated by fear of possibly not getting the Happy Ending she wants. I know people who are motivated by fear are more inclined to become more controlling of conditions in order to receive the outcome they want. She seems desperate to me as the rest of the villains to find out who the author is. I feel she needs to trust the stars will align in her favor rather than forcing the outcome she wants. I guess she still has a lot of growing up to do.

Rumple is more powerful then Regina, so she can't stop him anyway.

well she was out numbered so even if she tried to stop him, you have rumple with his dagger who is way more powerful than she is and then you have the 3 witches there as well.

I understand your point, but as has already been said, Regina could never have stopped Rumple because he's way more powerful than her. Also, she's outnumbered by a group of sorceresses all around her level of magic proficiency.
