MegaPlosion Indians don’t seem to realise that their “wealth” was meaningless to the majority of India. India at the time was using vast amounts of bartering and there was no real set value of items, this value came from western countries, so in retrospect Britain and other European country gave India its preconceived wealth, that was worthless to Indians as a people as nothing had a “value” but people traded for what they needed and wanted, where as Europe were using currencies and the richer citizens gave the jewels and spices a high value, as they were exotic for the areas, so less people could afford them and therefore use them making them more exclusive. So Europe gave India its value of items, it was worthless until the exact point Europe said it wasn’t. I know it’s hard for you to hear, but it’s true. If Europe decided the resources were worthless, then they would’ve been. And I wouldn’t say India is the only nationalistic country, as Britain has decided to leave the EU. It I would say many Indians are rather extreme and hateful, without being particularly educated in matters of monetary value and the wider scale of trade and the economics of regional areas and continents.

6th largest economy by GDP? Not too impressive considering that it's the second largest country by population. It's the GDP per capita that matters, and India is not even in the top 100. Also, it's not the fastest growing economy; The fastest growing country by economy is Ethiopia. Another fact, India is the one of the MOST racist country in the world. ALOT more racist than the US or the UK. India is also in the top 10 most sexist countries in the world.

India literary has a caste system for people (prevalent even to this day) which is far worse than one policeman killing one black person. These people in lower castes are forced to do menial jobs like cleaning toilets (not brushing toilets but literary collecting poop). Yet no one in india is protesting because of this neither do people protest when people from higher castes kill those in lower or when a women is raped by a group of men which happens fairly often in India. If india would be such heaven on earth, indians wouldn't be so keen to take every opportunity to emigrate to west.

Although I found it now after 6 years. I would have said this to Bayers to keep his $ 69000 medicine with himself. India has the capacity to manufacture and procure its $167 medicine (maybe even lesser than $167) for itself and every cancer patient in the whole world. We have always believed in solving problems by aptitude and not by money.

sunil khosla if American economy collapses it will only be the common American public with mortgages, small business who will be disastrously effected. The people on the top will always walk away with billions in their pockets. Look at 2008 financial crisis. Top Wall Street executives who saw it coming walked off with an average of 1 billion dollars, while the common public were laid off their jobs, kicked off their mortgaged homes and were committing suicide. Their own government, media and big banks fucked them over and over since decades. Just love your country, but don't hate others' because some ignorant Wall Street billionaire who happened to be from there pissed you off in a KZbin video. It's like Vijay Mallya being spokesperson for India.

India is an ancient civilization with 5000+ years old history, they know the value of humanity and compassion is deep rooted in people. America is barely 300 years old and has done impressive progress. However, it takes time to get to gain the wisdom.

India has a good idea. They should have similar laws in other countries across the globe who cant afford such treatments (ones that are too expensive for most people to buy in that country, so the original creators wont be loosing anything anyway).
@sevens210 жыл бұрын
The original creators are definitely going to lose money. Even if you can afford the high price tag, who in the right mind would pay that when given the option of a cheap price.
