As someone who's currently in the process of building a Blazer Xtreme... I am totally following this build. While mine is going to start life off as a street bully that can hand out some Gapplebee's gift cards at the drag strip upon occasion, at some point this might be the direction it has to head. Keep us all updated on the progress.

I have this exact same yellow truck in bone stock fashion. 114k miles. Everything still works in it 😂😂I don't even drive it. Sadly I can only afford to LS swap it.

I own a first gen S10 truck and never really was a fan of the second gen's. Tell you what, this little Blazer is one bad ass machine. And too, the men that did this "mod" on it, saying they are doubling the size of their shop, they may want to consider going even larger. These men do a killer job! It's becoming harder and harder to find skills of this level. Very impressive!

Missed out on one of these a while back, but would love to find another one. There's something about these that really perks my interest, loved both the p/u and blazer, but they have to be the extremes nothing less wouldn't do. I worked for the R.R. and used to haul them out of the factory in Pontiac, Michigan so I got to see all the colors and the bells and whistles that were available on the interior as well. Damn, I kick myself in the ass every time I see one now. That's when turbos were making people pay attention,or at least I believe so anyhow.

How do you fully weld the pillar bar to the dash bar and the door bar to the main hoop ive build 2 cages and thats been the hardest part other then the notching and fit up itself
@clintdonovan62574 жыл бұрын
@R K I understand that part but it must cars dropping the cage only allows for the top to be welded if you can't move it forward and back like in most cars you cant it makes it hard to weld the sides of the bars

What water cooler setup do you recommend
@mooreracechassis4 жыл бұрын
@@clintdonovan6257 We dont use water coolers. We dont do much aluminum or heavy stuff. And it helps with weigh when your welding a cage overhead all day. keeps things light and mobile.

Im hating hard!! I've been wanting to build a 2 door blazer for years!! I cant say i would have done anything different besides the k member and brakes lol because my pockets aint all that deep but gotta stay leafspring Ive just now got my 03 single cab Sierra acting halfway right 2 weeks ago it went a 6.27 at 115mph and carried the driver's side front tire atleast 6" past the 60ft so i took it to my local chassis guy and got a anti-roll bar and a weld in chrome moly x brace under the bed and a bolt in deal under the cab and went back to the track for tnt on sunday and on the exact same tune it went a 6.09 @ 117mph im definitely gonna hit my 5.80 goal soon. Its gonna get a 6 or 8 point cage soon but now since it dont twist like crazy im thinking about putting it on a radial and seeing what it will do
