That green thing you thought was an oxygen cylinder is a landline. I spend two weeks in Tbilisi visiting my son, I loved the city and visited a couple of wineries outside the city, that is well worth doing. The street dogs are so smart, they use underpasses and even used us to walk beside crossing the road.

Since then, the popularity has grown, and now there is a group of people who are very enthusiastic about it, the new generation, too.

today in georgian alphabet is 33 letters but they had 5 more letters before, in georgian history they had 3 alphabet they pronounced same but writing was different. i am always so excited about their language it is so unique

In Canada with 2 glasses of wine the bill would be closest to 60-75 dollars. Pre Covid I could eat lunch in Old town for under 10 dollars no problem now after the war it’s more then tripled

How come I always Sakartvelo, but NEVER the Kura River?? Also, apparently Georgia is supposed to be the SEVENTH most peaceful place on the Planet Earth, yet nonetheless, it still maintains Abkhazia and South Ossetia as "territories" on it!!

Abkhazia and the so-called South Ossetia (Tskhinvali region is Georgia). It has been like this since ancient times and it will always be like this. 30 years of Russian occupation is nothing compared to the centuries-old history of Georgia.The fact that Russian troops are illegally stationed there does not mean that these territories do not belong to Georgia.

I want to go to Tblisi! That was high up on my list in early 2022 but it wasn't a good time to travel to a country that bordered Russia. Regarding "CCCP" on the flasks: the full Russian name for the Soviet Union was Soyuz Sovetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Respublik. Abbreviated, that is SSSR. In the Russian alphabet, that looks like CCCP. (I knew because the Soviet athletes at the Olympics always wore sweats that said CCCP in big letters.)

It's not Kura River, It's called Mtkvari 3:13 Coffee Stalin is not popular in Georgia(We do not like him, he has a Russian/Georgian analog of Hitler, as the area (mshrali khidi/dry bridge) is influenced more by business/commercial than history. 5:15 what a გამოყლევებული, როგორ შეეხო, იმენა პაზორი... ამ ყლეს ვნახავ ამ დღეებში და ერთი ორ ლამაზ სიტყვას ვეტყვი...

It is not war zone. There are two Georgian provinces occupied by russia, but capital and all interesting parts for visitors are absolutely safe and far from those regions!

Actually your much better off eating at a street food vendor than a lot of restaurants Street vendors, focus on one or two items that use only a few ingredients Restaurants do 50 items that each have multiple ingredients. So logical, the street vendor will have much fresher food.
