When your mom said that when you moved out your dad was mopping around, that hit home. When I moved out my mom told me the same exact thing about my dad. Sadly right after I moved out my dad was diagnosed w/ cancer & passed shortly after. And I wished I never left. But I am soo happy you are constantly visiting your parents, never take them for granted. ♥️ love your channel!

When you tour Versailles you can walk all through the gardens which are HUGE but you can also hire a golf cart to drive through the gardens too. I'm fairly sure you'll walk but last time I went was with someone who had a back problem and I wish we'd realised sooner about the golf carts because we would have seen way more before it got too much for him. Just putting it out there just in case!

As for your glass globe, I just watched a DIY reel where some took clear, Elmers glue.... added a light color, then coated the inside of a glass vase with it. When it dried it was see through, like amber glass!!

When we vacationed in Italy the most expensive part of the trip was the 7 tickets they sent us 6 months later. Every mistake was caught on camera and up charged for being a rental and a no Italian driver. Not sure if that’s the same in France, but I wouldn’t be surprised

Omg 😅!! No it’s not the same haha but you do have to pay to take the highway quite often which can really add up to the cost of the trip (maybe you do everywhere?). Anyway got to look into the itineraries to see which is the best / least expensive!

If you like the countryside and French Renaissance castles, I'd recommend you go try Chantilly Castle instead of Versailles : much less crowded, smaller yet still grand with all the renaissance splendor, and with a gigantic, incredible park with all sorts of landscaping styles (French, English, "wild", pastoral, etc.). I went to both and even if Versailles is way bigger and there's the famous Galerie des Glaces, I LOVED Chantilly way more. Or you can do both, of course lol! Also the Marmottan Museum in Paris also is dedicated to Monet and has, among other, his Impression au Soleil Levant that gave its name to Impressionism. If you love Monet, it's one of the places to go along with Giverny and the Jardin des Tuileries :) Your mom's reaction to the 2 babies got me laugning so hard she's so adorable omg :')
