Nice one. Su was featured as it was her graduation, so of course she was centre stage and got the most camera time, lines in the song etc. Most years there were more than one girl graduating, Su's was the exception as she was the only one who had turned 15 that year. Where you paused - the girl behind Su (Mariri who was also from Hiroshima) was leaving early to pursue a modelling career, but she was not graduating. There were a lot of tears as this was Su's final performance with Sakura Gakuin and she was not only the class president, she was also very much loved and popular among the other girls.

🌸 🏫 / 🎓 Sakura Gakuin began in 2010. This was from Su's graduation on March 31st, 2013. This was well after 'Doki Doki ☆ Morning' and 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!' and shortly after 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' was released. Su was the only graduate that year; she's always been in a class by herself. : ) Her friend Mariri Sugimoto, the "other strange girl from Hiroshima" decided to leave Sakura Gakuin at the same time and pursue a modeling career. She's the only member who has ever decided to leave the group before she absolutely had to. She was a regular attendee at later graduation concerts though. 'My Graduation Toss' was written for Sakura Gakuin by Tomoko Kawasa (Tommy february6) and Shunsaku Okuda. They were the main creative force behind the Pop Rock group The Brilliant Green. The same pair also brought us 'Heart no Hoshi'. This is (in my opinion), the best Sakura Gakuin song of all time. Especially if you watch the "Rakusa Clan" (Forest Girls) version. It stars Moa and Yui, along with Hana and Yunano, the other two seniors that year. Su had already graduated from Sakura Gakuin at that point.

@@autohmae That was an oversight on my part. The joint single with 'Iine!', 'Kimi to Anime Ga Mitai', 'Party @the BBS' and the Kiba of Akiba cover of 'Doki Doki ☆ Morning' was released March 7th, 2012, a couple of weeks after the MV for 'Iine!', and a few months before 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!' was released. 'Iine!' was also on the 'Sakura Gakuin 2011 Nendo: Friends' album that came out March 21st, 2012.

One more thing, near the end at 11:04 and after, Suzuka is singing like a trooper through her own tears. She was the Student Council president, so everyone looked to her for leadership and as an 'older' sister. Su-chan is smiling her best even though tears have filled her eyes. She learned to be the absolute consummate performer as she gives encouraging looks to the rest of her 'sisters' to keep smiling through the last song she will ever be performing with them. Aw geez, the feels again. And at 11:46, that is the trio that is Babymetal.

🌸 🏫 To answer your question about the post Sakura Gakuin careers of the members in this video: Let's back up a little, and start with the first three Sakura Gakuin graduates from the previous year. After working as a solo artist, Ayami Mutō took a long break to go to school abroad, but returned to Japan and is continuing her career as a singer. She's released several albums. A new EP just recently dropped. Airi Matsui and Ayaka Miyoshi are successful models, as well as appearing in TV and film dramas. Ayaka recently appeared in the Netflix series, 'Alice in Borderlands'. Marina Horiuchi is a voice actress, and has been a member of several Idol groups. She is also active as a solo singing artist, and appears on the kids TV show 'Kinda Terebi'. Her new group Healer Girls just announced their second album. Raura Iida does a lot of stage acting. Nene Sugisaki pursued a career in nursing after graduating from Sakura Gakuin. She recently announced she is fully certified. Hinata Sato is also an active voice actress and member of the Idol groups Photon Maiden, Saint Snow and Saint Aqours Snow. She's also been active in Revue Starlight. Hana Taguchi is underemployed, in my opinion, although she does some stage acting. She's active on social media, posting songs, etc. Rinon Isono recently announced she was a staff member at Sakura Gakuin. At least until the group disbanded at the end of August. : ( Yunano Notsu was modeling under the name Yunano Honjo after graduating. She is current a university student, studying finance. Saki Ooga has a popular Tik Tok Channel. Of course Yui Mizuno is an absolute mystery at this point, even though she is still listed as an Amuse, Inc. artist.

Do not forget Marina's solo CD Nano Story. I think this is one of the best CDs released by any former member of Sakura Gakuin. I rank Marippe in the top five singers of Sakura Gakuin. This recording really shows off her versatility, with songs that are almost lullabies, to pop and rock, one tune that sounds like something out of a Broadway musical, and even a couple pure instrumental tracks. I hope that other former members of Sakura Gakuin can give us such enjoyable music in the future.

7:30 She's the president that year, it's her graduation, her last day in the group; so, yes of cause, she's at the fore front - every seniors were at the fore front on their last year in the group. 9:38 32 of them still performing today Mutou Ayami has just released a new single and will release her 3rd EP with Tsubasa Record (she also had 2 album with Amuse before). Miyoshi Ayaka is super famous actress more popular than even Babymetal Matsui Airi is the same as Ayaka, very famous actress more popular than Babymetal Nakamoto Suzuka is Babymetal Horiuchi Marina has a solo album and also in a group Healer Girls; she was in a group Maboroshi☆Love and also has been in lots of plays. Sato Hinata is super famous voice actress and has been in too many group to count for anime songs. She was also in Maboroshi☆Love with Marina before. Iida Raura is an actress with tons of stage play and indie movies, she was part of a duo - Night of Spica. Sugisaki Nene is a nurse. Kikuchi Moa is Babymetal Misuno Yui is... well... Sugimoto Mariri is a model and having a live on Showroom website ways too often. Ooga Saki is famous influencer. Shirai Saki is tourism ambassador for her home prefecture. Kurashima Sara is up and coming actress. She also has web series talk show with Yuzumi called Sara Yuzu TAKE. Kurosawa Mirena sold out Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre at the age of 16 playing samurai princess sword-fighting and singing metal in Metal Opera Millennium Momotaro. She performs in stage plays one after another like there will be no tomorrow. Yamiade Aiko is solo singer but now on hiatus. Okazaki Momoko was Babymetal's Avenger and competed in K-pop idol survival show Girl Planet 999. Okada Megumi was on a TV series just 2 days ago. She also co-hosted kid TV show for a year and a half but mostly concentrate in studying history in Japan's top university now. Shintani Yuzumi is up and coming actress. Her ad for a university was just released a few days ago in which she study space. She also has bi-weekly radio show and a bi-weekly talk show on internet with Sara. Hidaka Marin is musical actress but too busy playing with her cat - Charles to grace us her divine presence much. She was in a movie (with Yuzumi) Sayonara Kuchibiru - playing a younger version of main character. She was also in a play Satomi Hakkenden and Whistle Down the Wind (yes, she's in Japanese run of Broadway musical) Asou Maaya is in Amuse's vault training to be a singer. She said she want to learn guitar and be in a band. We're now waiting her rock debut. Fujihira Kano was Babymetal's Avenger and has a group called @onefive with her classmates. She has just finished a stage play a week ago. Yoshida Soyoka is in @onefive. Aritomo Tsugumi is in @onefive. Mori Momoe is in @onefive. She is also in ad campaign for big cram school as well. The remaining 8 has just have last concert for Sakura Gakuin a week ago and will keep working toward their dream. Nonaka Kokona wants to be an actress. She is easily the most natural at comedy of all Sakura Girl. Shiratori Sana wants to do all kind of stuff in entertainment. Yagi Miki can do pretty much anything. She can even do Rokugo (Japanese traditional comedy) Tanaka Miku still not sure what she want to do but she is still a Ciao Girl. Being tall, she can be a model, she also once said that she want to try voice acting. Satou Neo is a model for teen clothing brand and want to be an actress. Todaka Miko is second Su and want to be world famous artist. Nozaki Yume has a YT channel Ponstarland. Kimura Sakia is a regular of NHK kid show "BITWORLD"

Todaka Miko is an amazing singer. One of the best voices to come out of SG. Aiko Yamaide has a few releases on Spotify etc, but has parted ways with Amuse. I wish her well because her few songs are in regular rotation on my playlist, along with Ayami Muto and Marina Horiuchi.

It's doesn't matter metal is popular genre in Japan or not, Ayaka still more popular than BM, in both domestic and international market, have you any idea how well-known is Ayaka in Korea and China?

This was a very emotional event for SG. Su was the Class President and well liked by the others. During the performance you can see most of the girls crying at one point or another. Here's some highlights of Moa and Yui emotions throughout the song. While MoiMoi knew they would continue with Su in Babymetal, at the time BM was only scheduled for two more performances. Koba had withheld his plans for their future, so MoiMoi thought this might be one of the last times they performed with Su. @6:52 and @10:05 Moa nearly collapses while crying and is caught by her "sisters" @6:53 Su notices Moa collapsing @10:27 Moa is already bawling as is Notsu Yunano @11:24 Nene, one of Su's best friends comes forward and while crying tells Su she "loves her" @12:00 you can hear Su's voice cracking as she fights through her tears @12:32 Moa knees buckle when confetti is released @12:53 Yui almost collapses @12:57 she is crying and being supported by two other girls @13:07 Yui totally collapses as Ooga Saki holds her You should watch the continuation of this performance, where each girl expresses their thoughts about Su and Mairi. It is extremely emotional, especially Moa's, Nene's and Ooga's comments.

Su is the one and only solo graduation from Sakura Gakuin. looking back at Su in SG years , she has the most energy when dancing on stage and just imagine if she pursuit J-Pop solo career , those energy will wasted.

Nice one, thanks! So you were pushed into the Deep Dark Fox Hole without safety net. Cool! This one was so emotional due the reasons already explained extensively on the comments so you can see the vast majority of the girls crying at some point (except for Su and Rinon, I believe). Moa was devastated all the time, almost falling in some point while Yui had her undaunted face all the time until she breaks near the end (stops singing, almost falls too, hugs Saki...). Even Su was about to break while singing "Dear my friends daisuki yo Minna ni deatete yokatta...", you can tell by her voice but she was told not to cry on stage and she put all the effort into it. This one touches me specially. Probably because it shows real feelings instead of professional performers (and potential rivals) on stage. And this why it's so good, you just can't fake that.

Regarding your question about any other of the SG-girls being a singer: Well... Sakura Gakuin pretty much was sort of a talent forge. It has brought forth singers, models, show masters, actresses, and even a nurse (and I bet an absolutely wonderful one) over the eleven years it existed. I think it's a shame it is about to be disbanded!

Great reaction - and would be awesome if you could dig deeper into Sakura Gakuin - we could tell you some stuff about Sakura Gakuin, but I think it's more fun and enjoyable if you experience them first hand (guarantee smile). As others have mentioned, this was Su's graduation concert (the only graduate that year - hence the emotional performance), and yes, Yui and Moa are there as well. Some members are still very active in the entertainment industry (films, movies, tv, music, stage, modelling, etc). Alice in Borderline (Japanese thriller TV series) featured one former member - will let you figure out which one :p BTW, would love to see you try to pick out Su in earlier Sakura Gakuin live performance (Morteke Sailor Fuku), and to really challenge yourself, Su in her ASH years :) Can't wait to see more Sakura Gakuin stuff, they're so much fun ... just prepare to have your heart stolen by up to 36 Japanese girls :p

(One fact me and Moa has 1 month of difference in age, She born in 4 July 1999 and me I was born in 22 August 1999 so we have in 2012 we have in 11 and 12 years old) Sakura gakuin is a group school idol the members ages differs in 10-12 years old in her debut and in her graduation they have 14-15 years old. I send you a little information about that amazing beautiful group Sakura Gakuin（さくら学院; meaning Cherry Blossom Academy) was a Japanese idol group created in April of 2010 with 8 members. Comprised of female elementary school students and middle school students selected from Amuse Kids with a theme of school life - including club activities. They must graduate from the group once they complete compulsory school education around March. The group officially disbanded on August 31, 2021, holding their final live on August 29. And they slogan is "Go beyond idols, become a super lady" Like a normal school, Sakura Gakuin are split into different school years or Nendo (年度), beginning with 5th-grade elementary school to 3rd-year middle school (although not every year may include students in these years). So Sakura Gakuin has a Student council to and have a Sub units. The Student Council (生徒会; Seitokai) is similar to Student Councils at regular schools. Each student council always includes a Student Council President (生徒会長; Seitokai Chou) who acts as the "leader" of the group. Each year, the Student Council is usually formed of the graduating class of the year, except during 2010 and 2011 Nendo. Following the school theme, the Sub-Units provided by Sakura Gakuin are considered "After School Clubs". They have their own songs, singles and MV's. In one of the Babymetal 10 years interviews their coreographer, Mikiko, said that Suu is the one who puts more blood and passion to the performance and she is the one who is able to enjoy the most too. Suzuka is known for her energy levels, it's like she has an on button that makes her goes to 120% energy levels until the end of every single performance since she was a girl to the present, Suu energy and passion is always there. Also it was Suu voice and stage presence (at only 11 yo) what made think Koba, BM Producer, that her talent would be wasted in idol music so he was inspired by her to create this babymetal concept around her and he was damn right, Suzuka is a once in a generation talent, it's almost like she was born to be on stage.
