Awesome to see. It's crazy to think about how 10 years ago (sounds like a long time, but tech is fast moving) the idea of being a streamer was "I have a webcam, maybe a (wired) headset or dedicated microphone, and some random screen capture software" and for it to be approaching (or in some cases, is) TV/movie production levels. Between you, MKBHD, Tom S., etc. it's interesting to see especially since I want to get a setup... for work. Now, not a streaming/camera/mic setup, but as with all of these setups, there's a goal and a workspace. For me, I have 3 4K monitors, a set of speakers, and a keyboard/mouse... and then a Windows desktop and work Mac. Watching all these setups makes me go "ok, maybe I can use a different video switch... oh, that audio switch may be a better option, etc." because I want focus (work OR home) but I also want audio from both to come out the 5.1 speakers... need the k/m to switch (and it's USB-A and the Mac is USB-C), and... guess point is, everyone has a setup and they pick the things that work for them. It's cool to see it, and it gives ideas on how to get my own working.

Hi Joel. Was trying to remember who this was from the notification. Lol. Really cool setup. I was trying to save up for my own gear (mainly a 3d printer lol) but the prices of everything has gone crazy lately. I really appreciate your channels and how encouraging you always are. Have a great day good sir. 👍 😃 👍

Absolutely love this 👍 Its really cool to see the bts of your setup and something which inspires me to make a smaller version for my second channel. I have bought a few Elgato key lights and have a Canon 6D mk II as main and an Insta360 One x2 as a fun second angle view ;) I will be using a Røde Wireless Go for audio w/lav mic and maybe my Røde Videomicro as second audio (backup). Its a low-budget version of your epic setup but for me its a dip of my toes into live streaming 😎🤣😂

Hi Joel and Sean. Loved this video. One thing you didn’t cover, and I’d love to know. How do get the phone pictures into your stream/recording? Keep up the great work. High five! ✋

Drop them in like any other form of media. You can adjust size and add motion in your editing software.

We have a google drive where we dump all of our media. Joel uploads as he’s printing, etc. then I grab them and add to my local drive.

Just for your information when I open a live stream and see a coming soon or count-down screen I look for something else, and come back later.
