Our Home Birth Story

I am finally sharing the story of the labor, and birth of my first baby, Jace. We had an amazing experience, and I'm excited to share it with you. I include lots of details for those who have been asking to hear exactly what my experience was like, especially as I'm still healing all of the layers of chronic illness. Hope you enjoy.

Congratulations with your baby! I’m a new subscriber and I would love to have kids in the near future, God willing. Dealing with my chronic illnesses, I’m quite scared for pregnancy and giving birth. You never really know how your pregnancy will turn out to be of course, but I have to admit it is reassuring to hear that you had a positive experience. It gives me a bit more hope. Could you please also make a video about how your pregnancy went and if that made your chronic illness better, the same or worse? Would love to hear that too. ❤️

Congratulations! Thank you so much for sharing!! I had my miracle child in the hospital 6 years ago. I wish I could have had a home water birth but my doctor advised me against it due to my age & other health concerns. So I’m so glad that you did what you felt in your heart was right and everything was perfect for you all 🥰 Birthing a jelly fish 🤣 You crack me up!! Also good for you for taking a break from KZbin to get quality time with your little one, it goes so fast 🙏❤️

Yay! So wonderful - congrats!!! I loved my home births and am so glad you got to have the birth you wanted. Also for next time check out Julie Tupler’s videos on abdominal exercises during and post pregnancy as those were a lifesaver for me and helped me push out each of my three babies in 2-5 contractions!

Hi Mandy! I thought about you today becuase I use to watch your older videos on CFS. I have been on my own health journey trying to figure out the cause of my ill health. I'm looking into getting tested for the MTHFR gene. It can give you an accurate profile of your genes and healrh profile, thus, getting more answers than questions about your health. Have you looked into getting that tested? Hope you're feeling better. I have read notherhood can re-set your genes or perhaps heal some things internally. How are you doing now? I've also adapted the carnivoure diet, which has helped tons with my health, which is ironic because you eat paleo, which is basically carnivoure. Please consider getting tested for the MTHFR gene. Please pray for me as well regarding fertility. I'm almost 38 and have no children yet! Blessings to you.
