Yay - excited to see the kitchen plans! I remember in the Melbourne house, you put some appliances like a rice cooker in the pantry. Are you going to make the cabin pantry into a similar 'mini butler's pantry'? Put in an exhaust fan. (Yes, I'm the one who wants one in the new loo, too.) As someone who uses a rice cooker almost every day, plus an electric kettle and coffee maker, I'm always really nervous about where all that steam goes ...

I'm surprised that you are extending the kitchen into part of the living area. Do you have plans to extend your living area?

Yes!! We’ve made the call that the loft has to go and we’re going to extend back towards bedrooms… part two! But also it will be a slimmer version of what is currently there so won’t take up much more space
