A Monitor Lizard seen at 9:03. It's fortunate that you let it go back into its natural habitat, as Monitor Lizards have a tendency to hunt and feed on chickens. By 11:03, the topic shifted to Cacao (pronounced as Kakao in Filipino), which is actually pronounced as kuh-key-oh or Kakeyoh in English. Despite this, many continue to pronounce it the way it is spelled. At 16:49, another widely known root crop in the Philippines was discussed, known as Taro in English or Gabi in Cebuano.

Gabi in bicol also. The root we sometimes put in sinigang soup. Makes the broth a little thicker. Delicious. We also put it in our desert called ginataan, sweet coconut milk with jackfruit, sweet potatoes, tapioca pearls, gluttenous rices balls we call bilo-bilo. Also taro leaves is the main ingredient in coconut milk based "laing" also very yummy. Hope you can try them.
