The car sounds absolutely incredible, B58 is such a great engine. I just wish there wasnt so much pops and burbles, when a car has nice exhaust, they just ruin the sound.

The only condition of ownership of this new supra will be aTurbo delete, engine bored out to 3.4, individual throttle bodies, a cool air intake and the rest. I will then remove all driving nannies and embark on weight reduction to restore NA driving purity. All sport plus plus plus minus setting will be consigned to the bin, no computerised bhp just old mechanical stuff....I will pay a bit more for an organic chicken 🤗 Nice content Imran, I still appreciate craftsmanship in different manifestation.

Intake has been on and off since we got the car as our sister company Eventuri developed it. However, we wanted to get the car to Stage 2 before then adding the intake to show that it is effective when tuned.

Those are pretty low numbers. Stage 2 with an MHD OTS tune makes 440 to the wheels which is around 500 at the crank
@EvolveAutomotive4 жыл бұрын
We are not measuring on a Dynojet. Add 11-13% to get comparable figures.

Also look at the timed runs. That is why we do them. Dyno figures are just pub talk.

@@EvolveAutomotive Can you explain a little bit how you guys measure power in the UK? I always see bhp, but isn't that crank power? So how is a dyne giving you crank power numbers instead of whp?
@EvolveAutomotive4 жыл бұрын
@@itwerkbetterthanu the dyno measures whp then calculates the crank . Dynojet reads 11-13% higher than a dynojet. DRAGY times are more relevant as they show the true performance of the car.

If you think a few people modifying their cars is the real issue you need to take a step back and look at the big picture. Heavy industry, shipping tankers, planes, even busses and lorries produce catastrophically more pollution but aren’t expected to go green or urgently switch to a more fuel efficient product. Climate change and the amount of pollution we as the human race put out is a serious thing, but it is the much larger industrial industries that need to clean up their act. The sooner there is cleaner planes the better!
