Our Most Dangerous Day In Banff National Park? (Canada Road Trip)

We finally made it to Canada and our first adventure is to climb 3,500 feet above Banff!
In this video, we attempt to summit Mount Norquay in Banff National Park for the best views atop the town of Banff, Alberta. We took the Summiteer route and this was by far one of our favorite things we did in Banff! Although it wasn’t easy, climbing on the face of the Canadian Rockies and walking across wire bridges thousands of feet in the air was extremely rewarding.

Right?! So glad the rain cleared while we ate lunch on the mountain. Thank you for the compliments, and we're happy you enjoyed the adventure. We did our best to capture the experience with two GoPros and our big camera, so glad it worked out! The extra weight on Jordan's back made the challenge more tough, but a very rewarding day :)

Love this! Me and my then 14yo did a via ferrata in the lake district in the UK and it was great but i think the Banff views beat it!

wow. that was almost uncomfortable to watch. I would need the 'grandpa' trail. I took that ski lift up Norquay the summer of 1969. Banff looks bigger. Thanks for sharing your summit push, I dont think i'll be doing it myself.

I'm glad I can just watch the video and not have to exert my energy walking up tall cliffs. I am fine with Heights but I don't want to exert my energy definitely rewarding with the beautiful scenery

We love Banff! The mountains there seem somehow bigger than elsewhere in the Rockies. Would love to try that Via Ferrata if we ever make it back!

Nope, we had never done anything like this before and we’re fine. The guide gives you training right before the hike/climb. They also have different routes with varying difficulty levels and duration.
