Just started getting back into magic after a 10 year hiatus. My first buy was going into my local card shop where I bought that Ravincia Remastered Birds of paradise for $7. Later I found out it’s worth double that and the employee charged me for a non foil. It’s not a huge gain or anything, but it’s my first single card purchase with my own money as an adult and I’m so happy to see it in this video.

I think more importantly, he wouldn't have afforded both Ulamog and the twins of discord, slowing down his win by like two turns. To be fair, he did have more or less the same path to victory if he played his commander while only targeting himself for the manifests. Judging by previous plays though, Idk if they would've spotted that :P

not a huge deal, but at 34:59 Sarkhan, soul aflame only becomes a copy of Scalelord Reckoner until end of turn, not a permanent copy. Had a slight effect for game at a few points. ------ 48:13 it had more of an effect. Likely could have been worse for others anyways if he was copying the other dragons that came in later.

Its always great watching people with this much money making this many misplays, that last turn from the dude on the black mat was a nightmare. Ignoring that he missed the Braids trigger, he didn't exile two cards, he casted Ur Dragon with 2 white, black, red, green and the colorless floating from sol ring (no blue), then he played smothering tide thinking he still had mana from sol ring (he already used it on dragon tempest and Ur Dragon). He might've made treasure tokens at some point, but I don't remember seeing him do that.

36:30 Chase's Akroma's Memorial costs 2 less because of Ugin's reduction to colorless spells and tapping Sanctum of Ugin for the mana would've been the most efficient thing before sacrificing it after casting Akroma's Memorial. not a huge misplay but could've left you with 3 more mana to play around with. no rule violations there so all good.

7:00 That top is beautiful. The glow looks so dope. I am so used to the og top and still love the artwork. But since I have quit all these new styles are awesome. Kinda sad about what all the reprints have done to the ogs in price but since I am not a big seller anymore, I am happy I started to sell my bombs around Dominaria. The only thing I regret is I sold my Masterpiece collections (Expeditions, Inventions and Ivocations). Mainly my 7 Sol-Rings. I owned a shop and would crack cases to get the 2 pretty much guaranteed Inventions then give the other boxes away at FNM for drafts. One time all six boxes had an Invention in them. Everyone at the store knew what I was doing so I don't feel scummy (If you were in the scene back then you knew single booster boxes of Kaladesh and Hour had been "filtered"). But that day when each draft table freaked out one by one is an awesome memory I will never forget. I still have a shadow box on my wall with Beta Power 9, Liliana collection that stops at Dominaria, my Blue Moon deck that was a modern menace back then and only 1BCW monster box of bulk rares and FA lands from Un-sets.

Great game but one question when calamity of the Titans was cast 57:42 why wasnt ugin also destroyed when the mana value of ulumog is at 11 an ugins just at 6 and also why is jace able to play a sorcery card in another players turn? Would appritiate to have that questions answered .
