All our native customs in wine making and polyphonic singing developed here throughout millennia. We're as old, if not older than any nation of Asia, and significantly older than Europe. We're doing just fine in the Caucasus as a real Caucasian nation, thanks.

The sauce the lady at the market poured on your hands is called "tkemali" it's made from sour kind of plums.. and it's traditional to Georgian cuisine.. if cooked and spiced right it's very very delicious.. I personally pour my favorite red tyemali on most of my meals lol that's how much I love it 😂 I could even just eat tkemali and bread all day and I'd be happy... Oh and also with the churchkhela.. one that you tasted was probably freshly made cause you said it was sticky... Ideally, it should be dry to touch and not very soft inside either... And lady was trying to tell you that it has wallnuts inside and it's all natural Can't wait till next video!! Oh and almost forgot to mention.. how impressed and proud I am with the way you ate khinkali 😂😂 most of foreigners eat it with fork and ruin whole experience cause the best part - soup- pools on the plate and is wasted

well... i can translate everything she says.. i just don't know how to turn them into subtitles.. never done such thing before.. she's not saying anything special to be honest, cause she knows they won't understand anyway.. and often she's either using russian or messed up english phrases to make them understand... and she doesn't understand a word of what they say... at 5:49 she tells someone that she knows german very well

Wonderful video. I love that you guys immerse yourselves in the culture and do not limit your videos to the touristy areas. Your videos show how people all over are basically good, proud if their culture and want to share their lives with you. My niece from Georgia USA, lived in Tbilisi for five years. She taught English in local schools & community centers while living with a local family the entire time. She fell in love with the people and culture. It was extremely tough for her to leave and she still considers going back. Thanks again and safe travels.
