Great to see you fishing with Daniel. I really liked his "Philosophy D" channel back when he was doing his graduate work. Kudos to the both of you for keeping your friendship alive.

Hey man love your stuff, been watching for years, always kept me stoked living inland in the East Bay. I now live on the coast down south studying Environmental Management and working as a fish monger and making some of my own videos. Appreciate everything you do 🤘

Hey man, been a long time view and I gotta say these types of videos are my favorite. Great variety in fish and seeing you fish with Daniel is almost nostalgic. Reminds me of the times I had when I was younger fishing with my friends. I’m based on the east coast and haven’t had a chance to make it out to the street fair, always lands on or around my bday (July 13th). Much love man, glad to see you doing what makes you happy.

It's cool to see a Bay Area fishing channel. Man, those cod look delicious and you scored hundreds of dollars worth of crab and cod !! How cool is that to eat for the price of parking. You guys probably got $800 worth of crab and fish ! So awesome.

Amazing video I’m from Vancouver, seeing our neighbours catch the same fish is just amazing, a little tip ik how hard access too freshwater is on the ocean 😂 but if u can bring a bucket filled with fresh it helps bleed the fish out as saltwater clots the blood up way faster while fresh doesn’t

Pillar point is the best spot. Small but so much. Rv camping is 90$ a night and so worth it. Plus free overnight parking w 3 clean portapotties for guests. Small surf beach , the s jetty, Sam’s, early morning clam digging, no strict rules at the rv spot. We had 6 rvs and 100+ family n friends crabbing . We had over 70+ crabs on a table grubbing slapping p-lo on the outdoor speakers JL setup, 4 djs and 20 bottles. Campfires allowed. Never seen cops and fish and game are not dicks. Dog friendly. We would stay for a week, crab and eel every meal, some clams.

I once caught two cabezon in one of my crab rings off the pier in Yaquina Bay. That was a awkward bumbling adventure to attempt to safely wrangle them back into the water without getting stabbed by their toxic spines, or slashed by their teeth! 😂 They were the same size, about half the size of that big Cabby you caught in this video.
