You'll get in-correct torque settings if you hold your hand on the torque wrench anywhere other than the centre of the hand grip.

Hey Bruce use a 1 inch or 25 mm poly plug cap in as emergency sump plug , poly won't hurt aluminium sump threads but will be OK just don't flog the piss out of engine rpm wise and don't get engine hot , maybe if lucky might find a brass or metal plug

when torquing bolts should always start in a star pattern not a circle, star pattern snugs the piece down nice and evenly and the circle pattern you do lastly to make sure they are tight, should never just do a circle pattern i have a feeling unless any of them clutch or flywheel bolts have locktight on them youre going to be back in there dealing with loose bolts or a clutch failure

The more you talk, especially about the difference between “mechanical” trucks and “electronic” trucks makes it real obvious that you don’t know what you are talking about. Also, the power steering pump you got came off a C13 or C12, they both turn backwards from a B,C,E, or C15, as well as the fuel pump.
