I wish everyone was looking at an RV especially with sliders. 😊 Would turn on everything, especially the parts of the RV that are technical. 😊 You must never fall in love ❤ with how it looks 😊 always run the parts that move. I wish that the change was filmed out of motors. Have the repair guys walk you through manual operating. Never fall in love with the inside. Look at the tech side of all operations 😊 I hear this all the time with your video 😊 the owners must know how to move parts manually. Don't just go by what the salesman says. Make a tech walk you through operations. Especially after watching all your videos. The owners must be experienced at the Tech side of RVs. Never fall in love with how it " LOOKS"

General lost my 265k sale when they tried to get us to sign a financing agreement that gave us $0 for our creampuff 70k Monaco tradein by showing the trade value but fudging the price of the RV up to negate the tradein with BS charges and extras. Thank goodness our financial attorney came with us to sign the deal and he found the shenanigans almost immediately that we might not have caught. Also the RV delivery was an RV that had just arrived from the factory and was a shambles of a dirty damaged mess the same day we were to sign the contract and take delivery. That is an old trick in the car business… my grandfather used to own dealerships and they make it look like they’re giving you a great trade in but they are absolutely trying it steal it by playing with the numbers… I recently went with my brother to buy a brand new car and caught so much they had to remake the whole contract… they definitely weren’t happy they got caught… you are much better off with that cream puff Monaco than a new rig until all this QC gets worked out… the good news is with everything hitting the RV industry right now, one of two things have to happen… one, we get a president in office that can put the country back to where it was before all of this inflation and the RV industry gets their quality on track or two, they get the quality back on track and raise the price a little, in the big picture a couple grand more for a quality rig is well worth it, but with everything happening I can’t see them surviving without quality coming back.

Sadly, that proclamation doesn't hold water in this day and age. I've worked in both automotive and aerospace, and I'm here to tell you that the US pride and work ethic was exhausted a long, long time ago. It's also in other products. I proudly bought Duckworth Merino wool (made in Montana) apparel only to be extremely disappointed compared to my Meriwool apparel from Amazon. We, as consumers, often confuse the workers and the quality systems in parts of Asia with their communist government. In fact, China, Taiwan, and Korea have a similar work ethic to Japan. Yes, they've become somewhat "westernized." However, they work efficiently and are conscientiously consistent. This is something I can not say about the US... and I worked in manufacturing my whole career.

My wife and I bought the RV of our dreams and the nightmares began. On our inaugural trip, we were driving on the interstate and suddenly the hood flew open and smashed in the windshield. Upon pulling over on the shoulder and opening the door, the door fell off onto the ground. Next I noticed one of the side storage access doors was missing and had probably blown off somewhere on the highway. It was at this point I realized we were having an "auto-body" experience!!! I’m no mechanic, but I have a hunch that the source of Krystal & Sue’s electrical gremlins are originating from a bad chassis ground of the electrical system. A bad or incomplete or insufficient chassis ground can cause all kinds of crazy electrical problems throughout the whole RV. Their best bet may be to go visit a good automobile or truck electrical shop that specializes in such things. Just my two cents. Hopefully it all works out for y’all 🙏🏼. Houston, Tx

I bought a used Super C in 2015, it was a 2007. No major issues at all with that unit, just the typical wear items after putting over 30k miles on in in 2 years crossing the country. Build quality was acceptable. During that time I took the RV inpector course with NRVTA in Athens, TX. What an eye opening. The lack of quality and the manufacturers not supporting the junk they built, all of them, was dishearting. At least I knew a fair amount to be able to address any issues after the 2 weeks of learning. In 2020 I bought a 2017 toy hauler, a Work and Play, which seems to be built well and so far it's been decent. Again no major issues but last trip the microwave indicated it might be giving out. In general, they built them pretty well back then, but have since cheapened the build quality of the Work and Plays. This will be my last RV as anything newer is too iffy to waste money on now. Until consumers stop buying the junk, the manufacturers will continue to build junk and not stand behind what the stick people with. A sad state and the govt won't step in either.

Ladies - we are so sorry to hear what you had to go through. And we thought, that we had to deal with a lemon and a builder who was dragging their feet. By the way - we got back our trailer at the end of December 2023, after it had been at the shop for repair for over 10 weeks. Everything was fixed really well by Bish's in Idaho Falls. But since then the toilet broke, the fireplace/heater and the AC (fun at outside temperatur over 90). We are having the technicians constantly over to fix the issues and on top we have to fight with warranty ... Good luck with your journey from Brook & Wolfie - AND again Liz - great job. You are giving all of us a voice 👍🏻👏🏻

In fact, my wife and I have a 2003 HR Admiral 34 PBD that we have enjoyed since 2017. Never broke down , pretty much everything is working. We are in the process of upgrading to a different/ larger used DP coach. Very likely, we will be donating our current coach to a veteran through a local Veteran's support office to help a veteran in need travel our country in style. It is shocking to me that older coaches like ours scare some folks even through they were build.much better and everything works.

Overlooked by Techs constantly, grounds can be the gremlins they are looking for, especially lights dimming. Check ALL body to frame grounds AND add some. I had a Mack in the shop, burnt every ground strap and melted the accelerator cable because it was the last ground! Gulfstream Tourmaster had 270 Tech hours from 3 shops, same list as yours. 4 ground straps cleaned and 2 new ones, done. Let's get em back camping!

That Rv with Electrical issues sounds like a bad Earth the lights flashing and the generator issues this happens sometimes on Horse Boxes. The slide outs can be problematic due to being extended out for along time especially if it was used for display.. I definitely get a independent Auto electrician to look over the RV sometimes problems can be very simple to fix. If your in doubt ask a mechanic or Electrical guy to give your Rv an inspection may save you a lot of money later.

I am an engineer and the hardest problems to diagnose are the intermittent ones. However since all the electrical systems seem to be having issues I would : 1. investigate for lose connections near the main control panel 2. Check the main chassis ground is solid and not lose 3. See if a short circuit could happen due to exposed wiring or wiring that is crimped in a bundle that could short. 3. Try new house and engine batteries 4. Next time the electricals don’t work check the voltage of 12V along several points in the system. 5. The engine battery and house batteries are supposed to be isolated. See if they are isolated. Flashing dash lights suggests an electrical issue on the engine side. Find a good engineer and see if they can solve your problem.

It's sad when someone has to hire lawyers and go on KZbin to rub the dealer / manufacturers' nose in a problem(s) to get what they paid for. I'm retired now, but when I was young I used to work at the big three automotive dealerships during the summertime to pay for my university fes. The quality of the vehicles during the 70s was awful and the dealerships could care less. I bought a new Buick in 1981 that was nothing but problems, and I had even purchased the extended warranty. After seven months of torment I finally gave up and bought a Datsun. It was a great little vehicle and the service was excellent. I bought mostly import vehicles ever since. In 2018 I purchased a Winnebago trailer and I was disappointed with the overall quality. Covid provided an opportunity for me to sell it and get my money back. Manufacturers love to put the blame on someone else or to say that the problems were due to cheap Chinese components. My trailer had a lot of Chinese parts that worked just fine. I particularly don't care where a manufacturer sources their parts from. If they choose to build their products using the cheapest parts on the planet, then the end result is on them. It is very unlikely that I would ever purchase anuother RV.

Yep, that is what GM used to do, esp that POS Roger Smith. He blamed lazy labor, he blamed Japanese dumping cars, as did the rest of the US makers. The problem wasn't the workers, it was the companies were run by finance types and marketers. Beancounters care about only one thing, cutting costs, and marketers are all about flash. RVs are the same thing, the beancounters make a crap product and marketers give you granite countertops , electric fireplaces, big screen TV's& llunge chairs..kind of like 1970s cats w landau roofs, 'corinthian' leather, etc

RV owners and sellers need to go to state governments and have lemon laws strengthened to the cover the RV industry. That's when lawyers can be useful, because just like cars and trucks there will be established standards that cover the entire industry. That’s the only generator I’ve ever owned or nothing but Onan and I’ve never had a lick problems with him. So sorry to hear about all the problems that you had with your RV. ❤️ from Toronto 🇨🇦

👎 it’s all about the Investor. That’s what it’s about doesn’t matter how big the company is. It’s about the investors who bought the company or who invested in the company profit profit profit? 💰💰💰💰 years ago. I had an RV repair business. Liz knows me quite well. You can’t trust the RV industry. The best thing to do is to buy used one and stay away from the brand new ones and get one that’s got American made chassis American made engine American made transmission General Motors Ford or Dodge. Buy one that does not have slide outs because they are only going to get worse. Trust me. I know what I’m talking about. Liz has had this. Twice This is the expansion rate of LP gas when it goes from a liquid to a vapor when it’s released inside of the coach or outside of the coach in the atmosphere 1 liquid gallon of propane will expand to 270 gallons of explosive vapor if there’s a leak 10 liquid gallons of propane, will expand to 2700 gallons of explosive vapor 20 liquid gallons of propane will expand to 5400 gallons of explosive vapor if there’s a leak 30 liquid gallons of propane will expand to 8100 gallons of explosive vapor if there’s a leak 40 gallons of liquid propane will expand to 10,800 gallons of explosive vapor if there’s a leak 50 gallons of liquid propane will expand to 13,500 gallons of explosive vapor if there’s a leak Where is your test results of the propane leak test? I bet you don’t have them.

Having been a mechanic on cars for 45 years I found that those ghost problems are the ones that will drive you nuts the quickest. I specialized in electrical and diagnostic (I know I am crazy) and was able to develop ways to find those ghost problems that others had trouble finding. Electrical is the most difficult one of all of them if it is a ghost problem. If it isn't working then you can walk up and put a finger on the cause. If it's working what do you do then? See the issues with finding the problem. I finally purchased an RV park and had it an additional 20 years and am retired now. Now I let others chase those ghost problems and I am able to sleep well at nights.

After watching several of your videos it sounds like what is necessary is an RV Lemon Law much like what happened with the US auto industry in the late 70’s early 80’s. Keep up the fight.
