Laws state you must move over. If you cannot move over you must drop 10 or 20 mph below speed limit. Did you reduce speed 20 mph below speed limit? If yes, you are innocent. If no, you are guilty

Never buy an RV that’s been built post Covid. You will get nothing but a piece of junk. They mass produce these things to get them out to dealers so they can have product to sell. They figured they would just deal with the problems later. Well guess what they don’t deal with them very well.

You know it’s really ironic is these sales people will wine and dine ya give you a reach around kiss you to sell you a unit but once something happens, it takes forever to get it fixed. It takes all the enjoyment out of all the hard work that you put in and the money that you spent to buy it.😢

Liz, I wrote the following comment to Advanced RV but I wonder what your thoughts are regarding RVIA and it so-called certification process. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve commented on any KZbin video but you’ve inspired me today. First, I enjoy your channel and I can tell that Advanced RV is building very high quality RVs and that your attention to detail is obvious. But I’ll bet that RVIA has literally nothing to do with your drive to build great quality RVs, which is good because for the following reasons I have very little respect for RVIA - I own a 2016 Thor 28’ Class C, which I have remodeled almost completely. In the process I found dozens of electrical issues that, by rights, should have burned it to the ground and it is only by the grace of God, or by good luck, that there were no fires. In one case a 6 ga ground wire’s strands were un-wound so that it would fit into a 12 ga bus bar and judging by the charring around it, that connection had clearly been overheated many times. I found this problem when the circuit panel lost its ground when this connection finally pulled apart. I also found unglued plumbing fittings, leaking pipes, pex with NO clamps, holes drilled, apparently with a screw driver, in cabinets, and untold other really bad installations and lousy workmanship. It is clear that now, post-COVID, big corporate factory RVs have gotten even worse. I am currently in the process of building my own Super C from a 2018 IH truck and will have spent a significant portion of the cost to buy a good used factory built Super C in the process - but I’ve learned my lesson from my Thor and will not trust a corporate factory’s certification through RVIA. My question to RVIA is: how long is the organization willing to allow their certification stickers to be installed on these really badly built RVs? In my opinion RVIA, as a regulatory body, is failing at its mission and should take steps to make sure its manufacturers are (like Advanced RV) actually complying with their standards on every build. Otherwise an RVIA certification is pointless. PS, I have paid to join NOAH to have my build/conversion certified as meeting all codes and requirements through a start to finish inspection process for the actual build. At least when it’s completed I’ll know that it’s right and especially that it’s safe.

I really think that it all comes out of poor Consumer Protection Laws in the US. These companies take advantage of this fact and simply don't care, at least in general. I think that what you are doing is just fantastic. Keep up the good work!

So who do you get to do an inspection if you plan to buy an RV? New to RVing and looking at first TT. Ironically, we were looking at Forest River brands.

Are you either too nice or too mean to these people because I don't understand. It's as if they are going out of their way to NOT help you. I can understand one visit the problem not being fixed because ya got a lazy technician but 7!? Holy cow. I'd be reaching out to the President or CEO at that point and steam would be coming out my ears after several ruined camping trips and money flushed down the comode.

I have been thinking of purchasing a nice RV in the future. It’s sounding like I’m better off staying in 5 star hotels eating out for our excursions. Travel in a nice SUV. Sounds like hotel rooms are way easier to book than RV spots.

Hi all, Liz is going to outline her work and customer service, engineering degree, and RV manufacturing experience . This video will surely display her qualifications. Or, it might show angry people with their RV’s having warranty issues, interrupted by a sponsorship video Liz has explaining that buying an RV mattress cured her back.

Hi Liz, at the beginning of your videos you mention discussing the good and bad of the RV industry. Where are the videos of the good? Also, how many years in the industry have you worked? I could sit at home behind a laptop talking about the good and bad about the fishing industry but unless I’ve earned my keep, or gathered experience ( or even fished )I’d probably be discredited. You have views because you’re holding a gun to the manufacturers head. This is a sad pathetic disgrace of a channel aimed to exploit businesses you know nothing about.

Once a lemon always a lemon. If there not built perfect from the ground up, its hard to rectify problems down the road. Like a house with a bad foundation . I also believe the parts going into these coaches arnt as robust as the older days,, when more parts were manufactured in the USA. Lack of good technicians is an issue, and Technology Sabotage has driven up cost and brought reliability down. I personally prefer late 90s to mid 2000 models where you still have reliability and not all the bells and whistles to go haywire.

Don't ever buy anything new. Especially a car. By used and save yourself tons of money and headache. There are plenty of people to pay for the cost of fixing everything that is broken before you buy it from them at half the cost. I'm only half joking.

#1 an inspection would have likely turned up no-problems because it was brand new. #2 the floor was initially installed before any of the interior therefore all the interior will need to be stripped out to replace the floor. I expect the labor cost of that would total the trailer. #3 I've never heard of so many disparate problems on one trailer. This one truly is a lemon and un-resellable after an inspection. My opinion: FR should buy it back, plus compensation for losses, to save their name and save money. FR should also show how such a lemon could have left their factory and what they're doing to save their reputation. We own a 2021 FR Sabre and altho problems have appeared, none have been so severe for a "during covid" build. So much has been blamed on covid construction timing, but this story shows that covid is not to blame.

I think you should charge a percentage of the value that you get for people and maybe a 'buy back' charge based on the value of the rig. That would match the buyer to their purchase price and should be fair.
