Jeremy, check the crank sensor wiring thoroughly. I bet its rubbed through somewhere around the timing cover, or the pins in the connector itself aren't too happy. Been down that road before on mod motors breaking up on accel and the wires touching down. I don't think its an enrichment problem or a problem as it transitions to boost, its literally cutting off and refiring. It's further evidenced by the way the wideband goes extreme lean when it cuts out.

The skid factory had a very similar issue the other day, interesting. Good call

If it was electrical it wouldn't be happening only once during a pull at the exact same place every time. It's definitely an abrupt spark or fuel event in the tune.

@@NickKautz what happens is that as the engine torques up on the mounts under load, it flexes the harness just right. It's definitely completely cutting spark, not just going rich or lean. And while it's hard to tell from here, I think the black puffs higher in the pulls weren't detonation, but possibly the same problem, just not as long of a duration. I've dealt with them before, as well as rfi interference from a faulty ignition coil causing a similar deal. It could be caused by a multitude of things, but I don't believe its a fuel delivery problem, at least as far as pressure and the tune go.

@@rumbleracer1 Hot damn, I think you just solved the problem on my 04 Crown Vic. Every now and then, when taking off from a stop and turning, it'll just cut out for a split second. It's as if you cycle the key really damn fast. I've just lived with it for 8 years or so. I'm definitely gonna have a look at that. Thank you sir!!

I could be wrong, but I don't think that's the waste gate, the waste gate should not make it shudder like that. Also, when you watch the boost and fuel pressure gauge, they both drop very hard 16:09, it seems to show on the dyno graph as well. So it could be a bad waste gate or its doing one of the things I asked about.

Cool, an LX Sport! I wanted one of these when they first came out. A few years ago I ran across a Lincoln Town Car that had been tuned with a Kenne Bell Supercharger and upgraded suspension. They had added the LX Sport interior console and bucket seats. A really well done Lincoln. I'm sure it surprised a few BMWs and Mercedes.

DW340 pump MIGHT help your drop out issue. Its a pump good for around the 500-700hp range. I had it in a S197 3V in preparation for goin nitrous but never did

His successful tuning business says otherwise about him being a novice. There are plenty of tuners that stick with what they know. And do well at it. His dad was a legend in tuning Corvettes in ways other people said couldn't be done. Jeremy obviously picked that up. sudden drop in fuel pressure. Theyll have to install new fuel rails. Engine was 220hp from factory and the stock rails wont flow enough for 520hp
