Our Sequoia's Front Speakers are Rattling & Blown ... Let's Fix Them!

I just did this repair to my wifes sequoia while replacing her head unit with a kenwood and I'm blown away. Ive got high end speakers in my sequoia with an amp and hers now sound 90% as good. I should've saved money on mine. For anyone on the fence do this repair and you won't regret it.

Right??? I mean they're not the same as installing serious subs, but for stock speakers, they pump out some serious bass once you repair them!

It looks like you might have put your foam in upside down? Do they sound good now?

They sound fantastic. The foam orientation does not affect the movement or performance of the speaker cone.

Can i use the same kit for the back doors or is it a different one for it?

That is a great question... I have not had any issues with our back speakers, so I have not yet had to explore that.

Back speakers have cloth surrounds that typically don't degrade like the foam.
