Recently in the vlogs Colleen has been receiving backlash for being so self deprecating and she says that is how she truly feel about herself. I am just now making the connection between that and the character Miranda... Miranda is the version of Colleen with the huge ego, with the self esteem. I don't know my exact point here, but I just find it interesting that someone who is overly self critical of themselves creates a character that is essentially the exact opposite.

I empathize with how personal Haters Back Off was to you, and I'm so sorry it ended so abruptly. Not to the same degree as Miranda Sings, but I'm a writer for the entertainment industry and just had a project I put my heart and soul into cancelled. I wrote characters inspired from my personal life, stories drawn from personal experience, and worked on this project for it for years... only to have it cancelled. Having that ripped away from you without warning or time to say goodbye is heartbreaking. I'm so sorry. I really hope that the next project you get to make blows you away by how special it is. Like you said, it won't fill the pain that losing Haters Back Off gave you, but hopefully it'll be it's own incredible experience that gives you a new "best period of your life" that you never knew could exist. A new place in your heart.

Love the podcast! I'm 52 years old. I'm raising my grand children. We love watching Haters back off. I'm sure we have watched it completely at least a1000 times. Hoping one day they will do a reboot.
