With the clenching--I work in a dental office and this year is the most we've seen patients clenching their jaws and grinding their teeth (2020, no surprise). Sometimes patients/people will be clenching in their sleep without them ever noticing that they're actually doing it. It's like a subconscious thing due to stress. Maybe contact your dentist about getting a nightguard appliance. I wouldn't recommend anything over-the-counter unless your dentist specifically says you can try an OTC hard appliance, just to see if it helps for the time being until you can get a custom-made one.

I clench my jaw when I am stressed as well. During those weeks, I wear a mouthguard to relieve jaw pressure. Really improves the pressure on my teeth and relax those nerves.

I think the wood in the front porch makes the space feel cluttered. I would have kept the brick walls as far apart as possible and yes decorate them with a couple of lanterns. The wood seems like it should be next to a side entrance.

Hi Lydia, I’ve suffered really badly with clenching (TMJ) for a few years but this year especially has been terrible, I’ve bitten through both my mouth guards 😂 I went to an osteopath and I’ve been pain free for a month and I’m sleeping so much better! Really recommend it xx

Lydia - chiropractor told me to watch how you look at your devices. Is your head down or keep your device at eye level? That can cause a lot of problems with neck top of shoulders, and jaw.
