Lovely to see you highlight the Place des Vôges. I lived right next door to it for two years (Impasse Guéménée) many decades ago. When my daughter was born, with her big English pram, we went for lovely morning strolls, weather permitting, almost every day. All excellent picks Les Frenchies, and Luxembourg is also my wife's favorite romantic spot. Champ de Mars can be less than ideal at times and visitors should be aware of crime and aggressive street sellers. One spot that is very romantic is the roof top of the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, it is free and the view is one of the best in Paris, particularly at sunset or twilight, they also have a café up on top.

I travel alone... and on certain holidays, you do wish to have company. But you want pretty people who are also kind and smart. Thank God, there are some really pretty French travelers that come to Asia. They are very empathic. They invite people to join them, even if they end up speaking in French 94% of the time. So that is probably why France is full of love and beauty. Well, I only met good looking French people. So the ugly ones may be the bad people.
