If I were Link and Rhett said he relied on me to give him playlists... he would either love it or grow to regret it. When I work out front at work, I take control of the music. Nothing makes me happier than people loving what I play. People will comment on the variety and how they weren't expecting one type of music to follow another and how much they love it. Last week I got someone into Emmylou Harris. I agree with Link - it's an amazing feeling when someone loves what you're playing or have put together playlist-wise. I'd be sending a stream of playlists his way.

I love how much I relate to the things that have inspired you and the things that influenced your humor/how you see the world, even though I'm almost half your age. Narnia was the most influential thing in my life as a child. I relate to Rhett longing to find his wardrobe. I would often lock myself in my closet, close my eyes, & pray to Aslan, hoping beyond hope that I would find myself there. I loved Narnia more than I loved Earth. As such, stories of someone discovering another world are my favourites. I have a sense of wonder that I've never been able to shake because of Narnia. Then when I was older & read more of Lewis' work, my mind and my spirit were expanded even more. No one writes more perfectly than him, imo. I relate to listening to the same few albums on repeat, no shuffle (first cassette tapes then CDs), and a specific artist seeping into your being. For me it's Sam Roberts, a rock n roll artist from Montreal. He's a wordsmith and so much of how I learned to express myself thru writing came from him. I geeked out when you mentioned O Brother Where Art Thou? because I often feel like the only person in the world who knows this movie exists and appreciates it. It's what I consider a "perfect" film. Every second, every line, every shot is *perfect*. Every time I watch it, I feel elated afterwards. The Cohen brothers humor has influenced mine big time. I feel like you guys and I would connect on a lot of levels and have a lot to talk about :) When I hear how much we have in common despite leading very different lives, I understand more and more why I love your content so much and why you two have inspired me so much too! #earbiscuits

I love watching how our culture grew up. I started in college as a terrified isolated religiously pious child who found the nerd brothers. They made me feel at home when I was terrified. To find that a new much less terrified version of my adult self takes comfort in your content as part of my daily routine, were inspired by my first KZbin obsession. That’s so cool. Your journey has helped me so much. Deconstruction introduced the fact that there was a word for what I’d been doing for at least 6 years at the time. To find there was a community of people doing exactly what I had done in seeming desperate isolation… that was earthshaking 💕

They definitely did. Seth Meyer's had Letterman as a guest recently and surprised him by bringing on Adam Duritz from Counting Crows. Dave loved it. It has some great live performances and collaborations that you won't find anywhere else.

Guys, if you want to make a movie just Crowd fund it’s production. Secure some big capital to get into theaters, crowd fund a percentage of the cost and give royalties to the investors (also great marketing) and do it yourselves. You don’t need to use big Hollywood studios. You just need either theaters or streaming services or to just use KZbin connections to get it out there. The fact that you guys are both always trying to go the old school way of things hurts my heart and head. You have a platform and a built in audience. Use them to your advantage and start being Trail Blazers like all these influences you have.
