I did the exact same thing with PVC pipes and caps and accessories for plumbing. You guys have an awesome and amazing garage gym setup. WOW! I love the organization of your garage gym. My garage gym is nothing like yours. Now I used a ban saw to make plyometrics boxes, not gonna lie. I use Lowe’s and Mc Coy’s but go to Home Repo, I mean Rip-off, I mean Home Depot. I put in insulation and drywall and painted and then insulation foam for the garage door and put good seals around the door frame; which should of had it to begin with. Then the dryer is in my garage so I bought a Y connection and connected the portable AC exhaust corrugated tubing and dryer exhaust tubing to the Y connection and goes through the pipe that leads to outside. To prevent critters coming through the outside exhaust outlet, I put some chicken wire and doubled it up but made sure the door flap still works and opens upon dryer use and when using portable AC unit. You and your husband busted your asses and did great job and so proud of you both. I am well aware you don’t need my encouragement or approval but outstanding. I did and am going from small to eventually larger. You got to start somewhere and like you guys it’s been a process all the way back to when I was active duty and eventually getting honorable medical discharged. I like gyms and fitness clubs. Don’t get me wrong. But my musical tastes are discriminate against and not liked by so-called mainstream but apparently all the other stuff is okay? Alright, so took my classical music and hard rock and heavy metal and alternative rock loving self and began the journey to have home workout equipment and exercise machines. Nothing awesome like you guys but will see if I can attach pictures. I have no idea if everything or anything will show. If it does, when making my cardio workout room, the hardest thing was putting that ceiling fan in myself. That was a super pain in the ass. Everybody and anybody, if you can afford to hire an electrician or something like that, do so. I can proudly say I did good, but my time could’ve been given to something else. share.icloud.com/photos/0ZHdgAgiZxsR5bGyo3PjpEd3Q share.icloud.com/photos/08ah0Mg_B5c-jJnXD8Sj69Lsg

Once again you guys are Awesome! Started my home gym years ag with 2 Home Depot buckets and 2 50lb bags of gravel along with my military duffel bag and 80lbs of sand and worked up from there. Your creativity and “How to” videos really remind me how fun it is to “build” something yourself and the satisfaction you get from using your own made equipment. Home gym GOALS! We are putting up our in our back shed! I have two questions: 1) how do you keep it clean and dust free? We are using rubber flooring and sweeping it doesn’t work. And 2) any tips on getting a hold of equipment during quarantine? I was on the waiting list on Rogue for an assault bike and they were gone in MINUTES!
@patrickoconnell23804 жыл бұрын
hey! that's awesome! and easiest way to keep it clean is using a leaf blower, ours es a electic plug in a and does most of the heavy lifting. Then we mop it maybe every 2 or 3 weeks! as far as equipment, it seems like you just have to be diligent and patient. I would suggest regularly checking fb marketplace and craigslist!

@@patrickoconnell2380 Insanely well. Another great benefit is the tape adds some waterproofing to the seams.. Hey! great question, we havent had any issues but really you should run 2x4s or 2x6 across the wall. what that does is speed the load between more than just 2 studs. you could also put up 48''x48'' piece of plywood to do the same thing. hope this is helpful!
