Yes , I remember the site from Ronin, good film, " Dirty Rotten Scoundrels " was also filmed at Villefranche, great film, loved the video as usual.....Oklahoma, Oklahoma, Oklahoma !!

Hi Linda, Thanks so much. I watched Dirty, Rotten, Scoundrels again recently; great film, I just love Micheal Caine in that movie. Ronin is good, when you get to the 'High Roads & Corniches of the Côte d'Azur' video, you'll see some more of the scenery from the car chase sequence in the movie (I'm driving at a much more relaxed pace!) We passed through Menton back in 2009, but never stopped - we were heading up to the mountains to the Co de Turini, before head back through the mountain towns & villages on the way back to Nice. It's a beautiful region to explore, from the mountains to the sea.

The french Riviera is the most beautiful place on earth if you have the money , and even if you don't... friends of our have a caravan and spend the summers on Cote D'Ivoire nearly every year and go skiing in the french Alps in the winter... there's a reason Brits love to hate the french , because thay do everything so much better than we do!!.😂😂😎🇬🇧🇺🇦

I think they get a lot of things right 😉 And some stuff, well nobody's perfect... That area of France is stunningly beautiful, and I think it caters for all budgets. Villefranche-sur-Mer is at the high end, but there are places much more reasonable too along that coastline, then if you head into the mountains, ahhhh and we don't hate the French - vive la difference 😍 Cheers, Gary & Janis
