Watching your channel, the easiness, the "honest" talk, no fuss, no makeup of things, what you hear is how it is, is giving us, me, the insight of a family, their hard work, really hard work considering there's only two people restoring. You're a mum, a cook, a decorator, painter, gardener, animal carer and wife to an equal hard worker, electrician, plumber, builder etc.etc. I have respect for you both in keeping your children away from the public view. Each completion of a project is your triumph alone, there aren't other helpers behind the scene. Absolutely loved the drone footage of that glorious beach. I love beaches where you don't obviously see all the human footprints and can imagine that you alone are the only ones on the beach. Are all the feral cats so friendly in France? My son and I, mostly my son, have been caring for a feral community of 8 to 12 cats in Delaware USA for Years and although they come running when they see him, for food, they mostly won’t even let him pet them! When it’s bad weather he has made my porch into a comfy place for them to sleep using our old blankets, pillows etc. We also have 4 indoor only cats of our own, one of which he found on a street years ago who is somewhat friendlier but Hates to be picked up😅

Happy New Year! Yours is my favorite chateau and exactly what I would want should I want to buy a chateau (trying to convince my friends to chip in on one and they are starting to warm up to the idea). Your chateau is aesthetically charming, not too big, has the right amount of land, beautiful outbuildings, near scenic towns, not too far from the sea, donkeys and my favorite part of your chateau is your dreamy allée. Considering how crazy the USA is now (not that there are any places on this earth that aren't crazy right now) I one hundred percent think the two of you have gotten it right. Yes I know I live in SoHo, NYC and Dollar A Slice Pizza is right down the street from me (don't be too jealous!) but I think you and your family have landed an extraordinary chateau and lifestyle.

Kitties are telling all their friends to come to the Chateau! We just had 19 and counting feral cats removed from my Dad’s property. Dad just passed away so no one would be there to continue feeding them. Dad would pay for neutering and yet they still multiplied! Thank you for taking care of all the cats. I have 20+ currently and have rescued, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and other cares for probably 50 some over the years. And I wouldn't change thing. Makes my heart happy to have helped them and they have certainly enriched my life over the years.

First of all Happy New Year to you both and of course your children. I discovered your channel while we were in lockdown and have viewed just about every video you've posted since. Whatever the recipe for a successful youtube channel is I'm not sure, but you guys are certainly cooking up a winner. Maybe having a pro chef in the house helps. I must ask, who picks the music for your channel? For me, it's possibly the secret sauce. Love it. I love how you take care of the cats, they are my favorite animals! My daughter feeds the strays around her house, but unfortunately cannot afford to do more for them. I feel so sorry for them, being out in the cold and so afraid of people, to not know the love people can give them. We all have indoor cats also, so she cannot take in anymore but there are regular ones she feeds and has made a shelter for the ones who will use it and lets them under her porch if they want. So bless you for taking care of the ones you can! 😸😻 Happy New Year to you all!

I love your casual informal honest way of discussing everything. I also have about 15 strays and 10 cats in my yard and one in my house so I fully understand your feelings. I also have 2 dogs and feed a few strays. As you say the feeding is costly but I always make sure I have their feed. I can eat anything. The tablets they need for heart and liver problems also costly but I get so much love from animals ❤don’t change anything I love the way you are. ❤

You are both doing an excellent job and love what you have achieved, it is very honest and it is great watching you grow more comfortable in front of the camera. I love that you don't perform and are true to yourselves, I do hope you continue. As accomplished people in different areas I am sure your future projects are going to be interesting and I look forward to continuing with you on your exciting journey. Well put. I too watched them for awhile before I Subscribed. It doesn’t cost us anything but it does help them a little financially thru KZbin (although apparently KZbin is getting cheap with the smaller channels recently🤬). I figure if you’re gonna watch then subscribe so they can pay for the animal food.😊

I actually subscribed on seeing their first episode but have not commented until now. I watch every episode, also go through the comments and like them as it helps with the algorithms but in future I will add a comment more often.
