Oh Lincoln, I love your voice over and yes Amanda, poor Panacke!!! This video tops them all so far! I love all your vlogs, but this one....top notch! I'm thinking I might send my daughter's recent rescue pup over to you for training. He was found in an alley in Mexico, doesn't understand a word of English or Spanish or whatever else is in his genes...he's a bouncy 2 year old, keeping everyone up at night....I could go on....

Amanda, I can't tell you how much I appreciate these videos. I consistently get many laughs & some occasional tears (not in a bad way, though). But I'm always in a better mood afterward. Needless to say, the past 8 or so years in the US have been challenging, so your videos about life in another country are appreciated.

You made me laugh out loud, weep for long lost pets, and wonder at your open and generous hearts giving all those animals a loving and safe home. I still think there must be a cat sign flying over the chateau that only cats can see. Or the locals watch your vlogs and are dumping their cats in your woods. I just cant imagine how many strays are in such a rural area! Any way, keep up the great work!

I so look forward to see what you and Lincoln are up to every week. You are both such warm and delightfully funny folks. Thank you for letting us know about your “zoo” and how you came about having so many furry friends. I have had many cats in the past. Percy, my newest feral feline friend was adopted by me 7 years ago. He was a mess. His was emaciated, FIV positive, his fur was falling out, he had fleas…….. He has proven to be a gentleman and is quite loving even though he doesn’t like being held. He’s great company for this widow. I truly don’t understand how someone can mistreat an animal or another human being. And, dumping an animal is so cruel. They truly just want what we humans want; shelter, food, and love. Thank you for your kind hearts!

What can we say, another award worthy video, starring cute animals and a mysterious guest with glowing skin (he must have a special beauty regimen 🤔). All kidding aside, thank you for being you, and for taking in and loving all these beautiful animals. And thank you for taking the time to put together this video. We appreciate it ever so much! Maybe, some time in the future, you’ll need to renovate one of your outbuildings and transform it into a 5-star pet hotel. Best wishes to you all.

What a joy, thank you for the time and effort introducing us to the "herd". Cats, dogs or donkey's, they know good people when they find them. Your family is truly appreciated by those of us who watch, listen and enjoy. Seems as if your girls have the same DNA to keep their eyes and hearts open for possible lost souls. Don't worry about misspelling Pancakes name, when my 18-year-old Sweetpea passed away, I accidently misspelled her name when I had her cremated. Much to my horror the plaque came back with "Sweatpea, a child of questionable parentage". I cried, I laughed, then placed her little cedar box on top of the windowsill where she sat to watch the cars and people walk by. She adopted me and I think she would have forgiven me for my faux pas. Best to you from the Patron Saint of Old Stuff

Bravo This was a wonderful piece! I watch many of the other French Chateau casts and yours is and has been my favourite. The reason? Your warmth and love for the ever growing non human brood is a marvel to see. (It’s truly a wonder that people haven’t dropped off animals by the truckload). Your unique sense of humour and wit throughout keeps us hanging on and coming back for more. I also shamelessly envy your life with Lincoln. A man undaunted and undeterred by adversity it would appear. Bravo again to you both. Your posts are the best. Only wish there were more. Merci, merci, merci!
